  • Just spoke with Red and he is in need to see a doctor and needs some financial support.

I hope to send some money down via tourist courier (Western Union is a rip off) on Feb 14th 2011. If you can contribute anything towards this good will project please contact me or just PayPal my email at wforich@aol.com noting "For Red". I'll eat the PayPal fee and deliver the full amount of your gift to him.

    Bless

There is a professer, I believe from Vrg Tech, that is doing a major publication on Rasta Red and Rasta Reasoning.

Let me know if this is your friend's Grandpa. I visited Red (Maurice) this spring.

    Good to hear from England.

Yes, it is from a little cttage in Negril.

Red Salvation (Surival) is the oldest Rasta in Negril.

    Saw him earlier this year.

    OneLove,

    Red

Books have been written about him and PH.d thesis too. On Rasta Reasoning.

  • why is there so much interest in these ppl? is it because europeans are trying to claim everything these ppl have ever achieved? do they want to be the source of everything in the world?what a boring world that would be!I know the big buzz with european scholors regarding culture/identity.these visits to the caribbean are covert/psuedo anthropologists.alot of caribbean/jamaican culture is not found anywhere else.they are the originators of their culutre and to them be the glory.

  • Hello Miggy221.

My intrest in them is that they are warm, giving, loving, inteeligent and grandly creative. I believe there culture is deeply rooted in Africa. I think it survives so well

because they have carried it deep into Jamaica with little outside forces changing their history. I hear clearly africa in their drums especially. I hope you saw & heard how & where I first met Cat I .( last video of

    the 3 part Cave series.)

  • good song, nice beat-sounds like it has a slight "rock music" type vibe.

  • yeah !

  • Thank you.

Red Salvation seems like Moses playing the drums on a Guitar.

  • Red, you hit the target with that description. Irie vibration t'roo n' t'roo. What a great service to humanity you bringing this vibe to you tube to spread the truth of Rastafari. Bob says: Rasta is the future! That is true thanks to keepers (& makers) of history like you.

  • I'm still humming it...

  • Loved this Red! I guess I'll go and change the vibes real soon! Does anyone know if there is a Marcus Garvey festival in Negril in August and if so, got the dates?

  • This looks like the most likely place:

    Trinidad and Tobago

The Marcus Garvey Institute of African Life Studies will be hosting its 2nd Annual Marcus Garvey Festival commencing on Thursday 17th August, 2006, and ending on Saturday 9th September, 2006.

  • Looks like he's gone to heaven and back

  • Bat Caves yes long time ago,and I know Pee wees so Im sure I know Birchrunville.

  • See video response above - it may take a little while to get up.

  • Yes I found your videos about 3 days ago and we loved this, I think I know this guy, not sure , I think I bought him a Red Stripe, I use to go to Negril from about 1975 to 2001, Great Work!! I really enjoyed.

  • Thank you. Had you ever visited the Bat Caves in Roaring River? I was in Negril quite often during that time period. Do you remember Birchrunville West, next door to Pee Wees?

  • Red Stripe yess I still remember the first nite I tried it. The effects of a Red Stripe or the same as teqilla makes you 10 ft tall and bullet proof. : )

  • High as a song

  • Hehe, he rockz :D

  • That must of been so awesome to experience! : ) "Have no fear Kruzer is here" : )

  • Thank you Cinnamontwistt.

  • That's to cool : ) RedKruzer changing the vibes yeehaww. You have had some awesome adventures I see : ) Take care
