I tuck the ending piece of rope underneath the beginning segment, just as if I was going to start all over again. Then I just trimmed them down. So basically there are 2 loose ends still when you're done, but if you wanted I'm sure you could tie them up.

I just started by wrapping it around my wrist 3 times and then I put a paper clip on the top so it wouldn't fall off. Does that help? If not let me know.
