Personally I prefer moshing. But hard core dancing is cool too. My only problem is it seems 'dancers' take it a little too seriously. I was at a show once and started two-stepping with them and this guy grabs me and drags me to the door and tells me to stop looking like a 'faggot' and dance better or he and his friends will drag me out back and beat the crap out of me (only he didn't say it so nicely)

I love how people think that pitting, and throwing down is just "fighting imaginary people" it's movement with the beat of the music, it's showing appreciation for the music, it's getting pumped up with the band. Personally I think shoulder to shoulder bouncing of each other is daft. At least with "hardcore dancing" there is thought to beat of the music, and style and skill with the movement people do.

Simple as they. You always get dicks at shows and they are usually the ones that get beat down. My friends and I used to keep "kill" counts at shows. Only ever used to beat on the kids that would be hitting girls or bashing kids smaller than them. People need to be taught a lesson.
