  • I am not pro but In my opinion, sometimes you miss and If you perform the nuance it would be better. But I like it. Good luck!

  • :O

thats all i have to say

    :O

  • yeah i played the original for my grade 6 exam XD. i used to play it fast without ever learning it properly and now i cant play it at all:(......re-learning is such a BITCH!

  • Next year i'm going to play that. Well, the original i guess...

I hope I can play it so great like you

  • I'm playing it now, it's actually not that hard if you know how to play your chromatic scales. It's a fun piece to play, but my hand get EXHAUSTED.

  • i wanna learn piano now!

  • I have the original, and you were spot on on most parts. But you did skip a few parts... but it worked out well enough. :p

  • This is an arrangement, it is not the original.

  • how different are they...?

  • where can i get the piece from i wann alearn to play

  • I haven't seen any free download version of the sheet music of this piece. Maybe you should get from a music store

  • @ericfan20 visit google, just type in "Flight of the Bumblebee Free music sheet piano" the first web site, theres a download, just scroll down you'll see it, and its a java download, and you can print it out, without even saving it, because it appears like "Word" but in a java format

  • heyy!! nice one.. !!! i adore this piece sooo much!

  • Thanks!

  • i might sound like im bragging but seriously if you play piano out there people look at his left hand, its only playing normally then his right hand is like playing what looks like fast but if you have played what sound like super fast peices their actaully not as bad as you thought, sorry ppl but dont chop me to peices if you dont agree

  • Actually I do agree. This piece seems very difficult, but the right hand is actually only advanced chromatic scales plus a little other flourishes. It's not as hard as you think.

  • That IS mad. I think ill start playin piano cus of this :D

  • Jesus! Mindblowing afterall. I'm playing synth sometimes but not that well fo' sure :) I've also tried playing Bumblebee on piano but it takes a lot of practice to learn it right?

    - Eric

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!

  • i cant understand what your playing (it's constructive criticism, alright). i'll be studying this piece.. it'll be challenging. Kudos to you anyways.

  • i put the camera on top of a tall table

  • Wow! You're amazing! This piece looks really difficult but I couldn't play it anyway because I have a keyboard not a piano :(

  • Thanks!

  • Eric..I think you're fantastic. Wish I could meet you. Back on the fan club we belong to a new guy just joined. I told him about you and he messaged me wanting to know how. His name is Shem

    Bless You

    Peggy

  • if you want to learn fast, use his method with the five fingers..you'll memorize it effortlessly =]

  • woohoo!i finally found someone with the same sheet as mine!great job!^_^ i'm still learning this..thank you for sharing =]

  • Is this Rachmanioff's transcription ?

    Well-played, love it !!!

  • Thanks! Yes, it is the Rachmanioff's transcription.

  • I read the sheet, I first personally thought it wasnt difficult to tackle the piece, was it ?

Is the fingering tough ? Is the position change hard ?

  • I think it was kind of easy.

I didn't follow the fingering from the score, I used my own fingering. Using all five fingers for most of this piece.

And the position change...? um.. I don't really get what you mean by position change, do you mean changing the position often? or...?

  • I mean the distance between notes and notes. Do you have to overlap fingers much ? And to ace the fast speed, is it hard ?

  • Um... I don't really have to overlap fingers for this piece, just never, never use the chromatic scale fingering for most of this piece, use all five fingers will be easier to play and also faster.

The fast speed - this piece should be played with almost flawless precision, and this is one of the most important elements (which I sometimes struggle). After you ace the fingering and can sometimes play it precisely, you can then work on the speed.

  • (...continued)

The difficulty to ace the fast speed is different for everyone, it depends the level you're at; if you learned piano for a long time, then you can basically ace it very quickly. However, if you're just a beginner, it'll probably take you quite a while to ace it.

  • great:D

  • Great playing!!

I loved it, you really good :)

  • Thanks!

  • Should my fingering be like cromatic scales fingering or just use my 5 fingers?

  • I recommand you to use all five fingers for most of the piece, because by doing that, the piece, will sound more clear. This will also make you play faster comparing to the chromatic scales fingering. However, use the chromatic fingering for the on going parts where there is a repetition of 3 notes (I think you know what I mean by those 3 notes)

    Hope it helps!

    Eric

  • k i use 5 fingers ler But one part like the starting i use cromatic scale fingering other i just 5 finger or 4

  • that's good ^^

  • yay im able to play the piece now

  • at my school they play this song every morning, and if you dont make it to class by the end of the song, your late haha.

  • haha. ^^

  • lol seriously?

  • it's not bad..look my video of THE FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE,write "stefano bevacqua"..bravo!

  • Wow umm...any know who wrote this song i cant remeber

  • The composer is Rimsky-Korsakov.

  • hey man great work your excellent

Im trying to learn this atm but i was wondering uf you had any advice on what fingering to use? do u 'slide' your fingers down those long chromatic sections (eg slide using the same finger down a C# to a C) or do you simply use one finger for each note? any tips?

    once again great work!

  • Um... never "slide" your fingers for chromatics, only slide them when you really really really have to. Therefore play that part using one finger for each note.

(btw, that's what most pianists do)

    Hope it helps ^^

  • you're freaky good, you know that? i've been playing piano for about 8 years now, and i could never dream of even trying that!

  • thanks

  • what key is this in???

  • A minor (the last chord is A minor)

  • Really Great!

I play this song too. I can play it to the end, but it hurts my right wrist. Any tips for that?

  • Your seat maybe too low.

  • remember to always start slow when practicing, and that REST for a while when your wrist hurts, because that's bad for a pianist. Hope it helps ^^

  • Your so right, practicing it slow did help. Although I can't play it as well as you, the slow practice helped me paly it fast and strong in my class concert. No one believed that I've only play piano for a year and a half. Thanks

  • You're welcome.

  • you played an extra something at the beginning. Well performed but try playing the original one. This one you took out a lot of stuffs. you took out some main parts. Try playing the original one. Good Luck

  • This should have more views :P

  • BRAVO!!

  • Oh my god, You are so!!!!!!!!!!GOOD!! god I would kill for that talent, well maybe not but you know what I mean!! make a video on HOW to play it for people who watch learn rather than read sheet music!! PLEASE!! -puppy pout-
