  • thumbs up if you think it sounds like a lightsaber

  • @imperatoreTomas fuck off

  • 1:46 filthy bastard drew a cock and balls....

  • WL's vibrating thumbs would definitely be a hit with Mrs Lewins after "lights out" at their place.

  • I see what you did there.

  • i dont understand why this is so funny to me yet also i am kinda envious of his dotted line drawing capabilities!!!

this video just makes me want to see if i can do it!!! :D wheres a chalk board + chalk when you need it?!

  • DUUUUUUUDE. AM I TRIPPING

  • I want to study Maths now..

  • @Dancingbearr

i guess he is teaching dynamics in this video

  • WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!

  • Press 1-9....yep...all the same xD

  • Ich glaube ja, der furzt einfach parallel

  • so many mit kids on their phones in class, tisk tisk

  • you know you're a MIT professor if you can draw dotted lines like this

  • What is he drawing lines with? A toaster?

  • is this guy related to the perfect circle dude?

  • this is my white noise

  • how u do that :o

  • i dont get it

  • He really prides himself on that crap doesn't he? the one-trick pony bell-end.

  • look up the boyinaband dubstep remix, the things hilarious

  • ...how the hell is he doing that? 0_o

  • He's obviously doing this intentionally, which is pretty neat.

  • YOu failed hu?

  • co ja pacze?

  • This guy is using a macro.

  • Epic line professor:D

  • this man can make dotted lines like no other

  • @zx6rtt Hahahaahaha loololololololol, I don't know why I started cracking up from what you just said.

  • fartzilla xD

  • has no one here seriously ever used chalk? just angle the chalk into the direction you're going, apply some pressure, and it'll automatically skip along quickly making a dotted line.

  • That is the most satisfying noise I've ever heard from a blackboard.

  • SUPER HUMAN

  • oxi... o filemon tbm fazia isso.., o barulhinho enjoativo

  • I bet he keeps his wife happy.

    #quickfingers

  • Houdini of the chalkboard with Superman sound effects.

Now check out Pullman Standard "La LA La, Just Like Me"

    PEACE.

  • i wonder if he's as straight as those lines

  • who farted...... no it was the professor dumass

  • thanks for wasting my time!!

  • Can somebody explain to me how he does that? I mean the dotted lines, not the math and physics.

  • @ffiinnrroodd You have to hold the chalk very lightly near the back of the piece, and have a flat edge pressed against the board. You need to supply just enough pressure that the piece of chalk bounces, but not so much that it draws a line. Try doing vertical lines and eventually you'll get the feel for how to do it. Also, I think it might be easier with thick sidewalk chalk than it is with blackboard chalk, so try that too.

  • @Decimaster321 You're a tool, Henry

    -Mark

  • @demonadvocate That was unnecessary.

  • @Decimaster321 That did the trick for me! Thx!

  • fart camouflage

  • parkinsons?

  • at least professors are good at something - putting us to sleep that is.

  • Unbelievable, that man must have robot hands :O

  • nie czaje co was jara w tym filmie

  • I know many a professor who are envious of his technique.

  • Penis at 0:28

  • @rockalchemy68 Fuck off. Just fuck off, eh?

  • what is life.

  • swagger lines

  • i was wondering if i was alone doing this :p

    result : NO xD

  • @CharlonTank result: yes

  • Those are awesome dashed lines.

  • I've been practicing at school and I SUCCEEDED! So what works for me is hold it pretty perpendicular to the board slightly in the angle of movement and hold it at the back. This means the length has to be decent. It takes 1 or 2 lines to adjust to new pieces of chalk but then its easy.

  • Omg I cant do that: ___________________________

  • whoa....

  • Not sure if Dubstep or just chalk farting...

  • @dob3k78 /watch?v=E-dUx9fgbW0

  • Maybe hes just got parkensons. :V

  • i can do that too - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

  • skills... :D

  • I like the part where he draws dotted lines.

  • Dubstep.

  • Охрененный :)

  • Like a BOSS.

  • inb4 Dubstep remix

  • @ProdigiousCharles you have prophesied correctly

  • @FloopDubstep lol, tbh I didn't think anyone would have the time

  • @ProdigiousCharles omg you called it!

  • @vallieinars lol, I'd like to know more than anything how he draws those lines like that ._.

  • wthell is he doing? is he making those dots? or positioning the chalk in a way that makes it skip little spaces.

  • cut along the dotted line...

  • Comment removed

  • And this kids is the maths of Dubstep

  • Ok, I totally misunderstood the title. I thought we would see a few puns he made during his lectures. But this is pretty cool.

  • Close your eyes, sounds like fart compliation.

  • I would show this video to one or two drawing teachers of the engineering school where I studied.

  • How do?

  • @Double0hippy angle the chalk like you're stabbing into the board with scissors and the chalk will skip an inch, make a mark, then skip again. Do it fast and it sounds like a fart and makes a dotted line.

  • Who fucking farted?!

  • he dosent need a sowing machine

  • классно чертит дотлайны

  • it's really easy!

    now I know the mechanics

    wrrrrp wrrrrp wrrrrp wrrrrp

  • Is that a giant penis at 1:44?

  • you know your an engineer when....

  • also find ich toll hihi

  • He has to stop it. There is no place for magic in science class!

  • wrrrr nienawdzie tego dźwięku! aż mam ciarki!

  • first i was thinking that it was lines as in what he said, then i thought HOW DOES HE DO THAT!? then thirdly i wanna see this done with dry erase

  • seriously how does he do that?

  • @SkyyLim I can do this by squeeseing chalk with soft eraser together. Eraser bumps when you move it along the blackboard.

  • @SkyyLim Push the crayon rather than drag it.

eg: if you put it on the board like \ push it to the right.

/ to the left. You'll feel friction. It's this friction that allows for hops.

  • @SkyyLim

    magnets!

  • @SkyyLim He is dutch, thats how

  • Just press 8 to the beat and there you go. Enjoy ;)

  • @antipassifist Damn That DJ Made My Day. Nice job catching the press 8.

  • sounds like fart . . .

  • @thatguyinthehat1 if you looks close his lines consist of many, many dots, but he draws them as straight as he would draw a normal line

  • That's easy I want to see him Clone Brush.

  • Why is this good? The guy can't even draw a straight line!

  • @thatguyinthehat1 i 'd like to see you draw a line that quick with - - - - - - - spaces between itself

  • but can it dry erase?

  • I like the part where he goes "wrrrrooop".

  • Where is the remix?

  • i used to do that back in school days.. didn't know its such a big deal. just turn the chalk on its Flat head & draw using the edge.

  • So you can get Repetitive Strain Injury from teaching....

  • Close your eyes, sounds like some Star wars pod racing.

  • does he just tense his forearm to make it "vibrate", or is he just dragging the chalk in such a way that it bounces off of the board very quickly?

  • @Shwaggetyshfifty Was wondering the same thing....

  • Those lines have holes in them!

  • 1:10 how do you run out of chalk?

  • way to make fun of his parkinson's you guys

  • haha ten koleś by podać stan magazynu nie musi nawet do niego wchodzić xD

  • Somebody Dubstep it!!! please

  • @julesgzu dubstep yourself

  • to ma być MIT? mi to przypomina bardziej fizykę w liceum

  • how does he do it?

  • Dubstep :D

  • mozg roz*ebany

  • Po pięciu minutach cegłą w niego bym rzucił.

  • Co ja pacze... Oo

  • It sounds like your goddamn dubstep :\

  • Można bez przypału pierdzieć u niego na lekcjach bo i tak będzie na niego ;d

  • it's really easy to do if you hold the chalk in a particular way (perpendicular to the board)

  • lipa, to co sie dzieje na geometrii wykreslnej na uczelni technicznej to jest dopiero kozak...

  • Oh Jesus Christ I just couldn't stop watching

  • One Question:

    How ? o. O

  • I don't know why, but I could watch that shit all day.

  • we're such geeks. (first time " fake" funny)

  • Lewin nie Lewins!

    Lewin not Lewins!

  • I came here from the "For the love of Physics" video MIT uploaded.

  • It's easy. Just get parkinson.

  • The secret lies in vests!!!

  • this sounds like the weirdest dubstep ever

  • im in that amazing part of youtube again...

  • He is doing the same thing like my lecturer from Circuit theory in Warsaw University of Technology.

  • Ever been near a lactose intolerant person after they've had Easy Mac? Well, this video is like that, only without the smell.

  • fake

  • that sounds like copulating pigs

  • Does he uses some sort of technique like moistening the top of the chalk? Then with applying the exact force to the blackboard you can do this without actually having to jolt your hand like crazy?

  • So, anyone figured out how he does it?

  • Mi się wydaje że to dźwięk betoniarki :D

  • oo, with tools? I'm not impressed.

na polskich uczelniach są (byli?) tacy specjaliści - potrafią sławetną "kreskę" - geometrię wykreślną malować tak godzinami bez żadnych przyrządów - idealnie równolegle, prostopadle, okrągło etc

  • mój fizyk z liceum tak rysował

  • parkinson level over 9000

  • Sounds like dubstep.

  • it sounds like somebodys farting

  • haha he is a sound engineer

  • Transformer sound

  • DUBSTEP.

  • the soundtrack of this vid is that awesome that it could be used in every action movie

  • autoCAD 2011 :D

  • make a remix of this sound :)

  • Parkinson - table edition

  • Sounds like Gatling from A-10.

  • Recording the guy who has gastric problems. SHAME ON YOU !

  • I don't understand any of those equations that he wrote...I guess I'm to stupid to be on MIT.

  • interesting music video. contemporary experimental music never seems to stop amazing me.

  • In USA they have interlaced chalk. ;)

  • almost didnt fall asle

    huh wha, whats going on

  • If you close your eyes, this sounds like something very nasty.

  • my teacher taught me how to do this

hold chalk near end at angle

    apply pressure and go

however his makes a different sound but nevertheless dotted lines

  • an adult toy will do the trick =)

  • Did the kid recording learn anything?

  • why is he retarded at using chalk?

  • he has some crazy awesome vests

  • When it said lines it literally meant lines O_O

  • MIT has the best teachers in the world. Every single time I have an issue with how my profs. teach there is a MIT professor on you-tube to help. Kudos to all the teacher that really care.

  • there isn't a single line this whole video... nothing but segments

  • @superepicfuntime I see what you did there.

  • @superepicfuntime *slow clap*

  • Fucking gay
