  • hey i need a violinist for my ensemble piece

is the one in this ensemble here available?

if he is, can you also tell me his hourly rate?

  • @rundotop sorry can't help you

  • was this for ext ensemble?

  • @rundotop yes

  • I would agree that the Washington Musica Viva interpretation is a bit slow for "presto" - but I DON'T like the cuts here and I find this version also somewhat lacking in feeling. The WMV does really display the full tragic feeling of the Smetana G Minor piano trio. This version is too dry for me.

  • the cuts were due to high school music syllabus in NSW, Australia, which has time constraints on the whole program, otherwise the cuts would not be implemented

  • Oh! Fantastic!!!!

  • this is the best piano trio after the mendelssohns`. And a great interpretation!!!!

  • i thoroughly enjoyed this. I have to get me the music.

  • well not really when u don't know de piece lol!

  • due to the higher school certificate in australia, theres a time limit for the whole repetiore, so bits had to be cut out thats all...

  • that is still quite all right since all the spirits by Smetana are remained and the skills are fully represented. What a Presto! Bravo

  • is it a short version of 3rd movement of what?

  • yeah a bit was cut out :) virtually unnoticable isnt it?

  • Wow. Very musical!

  • true...Bedřich Smetana is great

  • one of the most beautiful piano trios...should be performed way more often...great job to those performing in this vid.

  • Go paul! Great recording. Pity they chose bloody MOPJ for encore. Thanks chapm0n for uploading
