I would agree that the Washington Musica Viva interpretation is a bit slow for "presto" - but I DON'T like the cuts here and I find this version also somewhat lacking in feeling. The WMV does really display the full tragic feeling of the Smetana G Minor piano trio. This version is too dry for me.

the cuts were due to high school music syllabus in NSW, Australia, which has time constraints on the whole program, otherwise the cuts would not be implemented

due to the higher school certificate in australia, theres a time limit for the whole repetiore, so bits had to be cut out thats all...
