  • Ultimate party song here.. fuck rap

  • @Rockcadet92....I con-Mc-FaREEKIN'-Cur, rebel dog! BLOWN SPEEEE K K R's!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is gonna be my wedding song. I don't know how anyone grew up without hearing this song.

  • HOPE MY NEIGHBORS LIKE THE CULT!!!!

  • Oh man, this is my jam!!!!! I love this song!

  • If anybody my age is wondering how to get a beautiful redheaded girl, playing this song with your band at the school talent show REALLY helps!!!!!

  • @revis23

Crush 40's version is like the graphics of red dead redemption vs pacman !

pacman is crush 40 red dead is the cult.

  • Son, Crush 40's version is weak as fuck. NEVER REMAKE A CLASSIC! Ian Astbury would bite the head of that shit and use its body as a his throne! Kids...

  • @revis23 wow scared to hear it lol

  • @revis23 well I went and played it and in the 1st verse the singer was out of key and the rhythm about beat them to death it wasnt even bar band quality!

  • @poolpig You couldn't be more right.

  • Best Friday song, of all time!

  • Crush 40's version is beter.

  • Better than Whitney. . .uh----hmm ah FOR A CERTAINTY. SHAKE IT.

  • Im 16 and I listen to this. Shut up.

  • These guys set precedence for today's music - no one can match the Cult Though!

  • Love this song and the Cult ever since I first heard them way back in the 80's.

  • I've never heard of the *cover* band either...but The Cult RULES, and Ian Astbury, as always, rocks this one! They were kick-ass in concert around about 1989 or so too! Good old days is an understatement! :-)

  • and what the fuck is a crush 40?

  • @Mescalineification1 Its a Band of Rock, they make some songs of the videogames of Sonic The Hedgehog and also make their own songs, also make a cover of this song, Fire Woman but I have to admit, I liked the original song more.... search about they here, I recommend you the song, Live & Learn or Open Your Heart...

  • @giovas6195 Ok I gave them a listen, I listened to their version of Fire Woman. It's rock, and I give them props for trying and being enough of a fan of The Cult to cover one of their songs. It was ok and I didn't completely hate it. But the original version is SO much better

  • @giovas6195 and thank you for telling me what crush 40 was I had no idea lol

  • Reading comments here, I had no idea others had covered this, but if so they should have the shit beat out of them for even trying because NO ONE will ever do it justice. And you kids down there that didn't even know who The Cult is, all I can say is: Stop listening to that SHIT that you are calling music and listen to some good rock and roll for a fucking change. That shit you listen to has no Soul.

  • Smosh anyone?

  • I've never heard the original version of this song before today

But I have heard Crush 40's cover and I couldn't resist the opportunity to hear the original.

  • @adamthehedgehogfilms Me too... I didn't knew about the original song before today...

  • @giovas6195 What Version do you like more? The Crush 40 one ore the original?

  • @TheztanLP My favorite band is Crush 40 but...I have to admit, I liked the original song more....

  • i was thinkin what i been missin..................Tssssssss hot

  • this song is not for weed. just for fun and shoot the shit.

  • Thumbs up if you are like over 30 and facepalmed at all the youngsters who apparently have never heard of Fire Woman by the Cult before LOL

  • @PhrynosomaTexas I'm 20 and I have been listening to this song since I was a kid, just now found out that this was the bands name.

  • @PhrynosomaTexas Im 24 and listen to the cult over any new music, and have been listening for AGES

  • @PhrynosomaTexas hahahaahahah right bro

  • @PhrynosomaTexas I'm a youngster and I've heard it, well 21.. thanks to my dad i actually listen to good music..

  • @PhrynosomaTexas Im half that age, and I have liked this song since I was around 12...

  • Theory of a dead man stole this. Unoriginal untaltented bastards.

  • Make me high,very high!!!

  • Lethal song. Can't stop listening constantly

  • Great album!!!

  • Does anyone else think that Theory of a Deadman's Bad Girlfriend song sounds EXACTLY like this?!

  • @361MXC Thats because Bad Girlfriend is a total rip off

  • @361MXC I cant believe how blatant of a rip off that is sounds like a lawsuit WTF!

  • @361MXC No, this sounds a lot better

  • Just think..They're British lol !!

  • @gman0025 ....and whats funny bout dat ? brits rock,i think we've proved that over the years

  • I love this !

  • seen em in 86 in Detroit at Royal Oak Music thater

  • All that hipster, buddy holly glasses wear'in crap can suck my balls. Welcome to real rock you synth playing, non rocking douchebags. Ian Ashbury holds his head in shame to what has become to new wave/ power rock has become. Fuck you and your girl's jeans wearing ass you fucks. Thank you and a good day to you sir.

  • @kylemas2005 you do know the rolling stones started the skinny jeans fad right?

  • the first time I heard this song, I was in the front row at a david copperfiled show and there was music playing before the show started. and as I was sitting there, this song was kickin' my ass, I remember thinkin' I have got to remember the words. sure enough I eventually looked it up, like years later and it quickly became one of my favorite songs.,,,

  • No sound system will be loud enough to play this song

  • @rockcadet92 Could God make a sound system loud enough to play this as loud as it deserves to be? :D

  • @rockcadet92 never

  • Wow, in the beginning he sounds a bloody lot like bono!

  • I'm a hardcore metal head who's loved the cult for years

  • this song as too many others from 80s era makes me fell so goddamn good!!!!!!!!

good memories from my teenagers life ,.,.,. am 43 years old now, and still rocking

i got no problem with that ,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,

  • @1968mayan -age 50 and agree. Sheer power, late bloomers from the 80s power rock era! Great stuff!

  • Man I hear music like this with so much passion and energy, I am left to just wonder, what in the hell happened to the rocken music from the 80's? I don't care what anyone says.. there 's nothing on the radio for the last 15 years that comes even close to the melodic wonder of a song like this!

  • 'Firewoman you're to blame! Firewoman you're to blame!' -orgasm-

  • sex

  • \m/

  • 100% rock n roll

  • wow, great

  • Women are always getting sacked for things that aren't their fault! It's a disgrace I tell thee!

  • Infinitly better than todays crap, but it pales in comparison to dio, black sabbath, metallica etc.

  • @FrozenLemur its not really anything like any of those bands, I don't see your point

  • This song is dance inducing :)

  • FUCKIN AWSOME

  • There are some songs that are just pure Awesome. This is one of those songs.

  • SINCE ZEP HAS GONE WHAT WE HAVE LEFT IS THE CULT .......KEEP ON KICKING ASS

  • Hip Hop is as DEAD as punk is. Who was the last big hip hop artist? Who was the last big punk band? ill tell you who: Q-tip was the last HIP HOP artist and the last punk band was probably Pennywise. And please dont come on here saying Blink 182 and Greenday are punk cause they arent. I need only point to "all the small things" and "november" to prove my point. Anyways these guys rock. New RAP sucks.

  • Like this comment if u came here because of crush 40

  • Airman First Class Toler, this is RAF Mildenhall ATOC, what the fuck you want, dammit

I didn't really answer the phone like that, but at 0300 hrs I was tempted to. I remember this song in Blokeland.

  • Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man. Ian is my man.

  • Shake, shake, shake, shake it, yay!!

  • NOW THATS MUSIC COMPARED TO JUSTINE BEAVER

  • @antstrass124 "Hmm nice beaver". "Thanks I just got it stuffed". - Leslie Neilsen The Naked Gun

  • Yep fond memories. I past my driving test. Borrowed my mums volvo estate, stuck on Sonic temple and hit the magic ton. Thankyou Ian

  • I don't know why, but instead of "Trancing like a cat on a hot tin shack" I heard "Breaking my heart like a young Gene Shalit".... Probably from listening to this song too loud.

  • @Yeehaw Yall: That is badass dude! xD

  • you fuckers with these ads should be shot!!!!

  • FIIIIIREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

  • Saw this tour in Houston, TX AWESOME they did covers of J. Hendrix and AC/DC too.

  • I'm not being an attention seeker but thumbs up if you agree with the fact that people can say what they want, whenever they want about anything and if someone isn't interested then don't read it. Either way no matter what. JUST KEEP ROCKIN MAN' !!!

  • BEST SONG EVER, TODAYS POP/RAP MUSIC SUCKS ASS!!!!!!

  • @OshawaGeneralsFan5

thats because Metal and , Rock grabs you by the ASS!!

  • @OshawaGeneralsFan5 Only 1 good Popstar that is it but this isn't that good tbh.

  • where the hell are the songs that got your adrenaline going? the ones that made you feel powerful and strong? the songs where you cant help but get your leg to moving or pump your fist in the air? todays music os nothing but Styrofoam..all massed produced and worthless..the music industry has lost its heart,,bring back the days of Sister Christian and Twisted Sister,ZZ TOP and Stevie Ray Vaughn! WhiteSnake and The Cult! back when songs had heart and soul and power!

  • @KeithWasHere1 I can't say i liked everything from the late 80's to early 90's. there was a lot of bad music then as well. That being said, the problem is that record companies direct all of their attention to kids with disposable income. i'm 40 and i still want to buy good music and see bands. I don't want mellow music either. Most new music simply has no teeth. There are many less places where I live to see bands as well. it's dried up.

  • @Wuddymaters13 i know exactly what you mean homes, todays music has no heart and its all studio auto tune shit with people with no talent! I want people like Grace Slick and Janice Joplin to come back ..virtuosos like Steve Ray Vaughn...Visonaries and story tellers like MeatLoaf and Elton John...ya know people that knew their craft, not this teeny bopper freaking Bieber crap,i swear they are planting signals in the music of today to make people buy it no matter how bad it sounds.

  • want to trip your chick out? ..stop your car wherever you are..tell her to get out and then crank this kinda song or something with some heart to it and dance with her right then and there in front of the headlights...it captures there attention

  • @OshawaGeneralsFan5 yep, but this isnt any better, but then,i wasnt born yet when this came out so its prob a generation-music-gap or sumnthin..

  • @lolol986678 Nope, I wasn't born when this song came out either. You just suck.

  • @stnavres hey w.e. this songg is just a diferent style, that was only populair in the 80's, then with pple like u that like older music, its just ur ear ,u like it, i think it suxx so w.e.

  • @lolol986678 It wasn't a style that was only popular in the 80s, Rock has been popular since the 60s and still is to a degree.

  • @stnavres i guess, that perticulair style yea, i mean theres really no pure rock anymore, its all pop-rock, alt-rock, metal and so forth,ACDC is still kicking around and so is guns&roses but its all spliced in with other styles..i guess thats y i dont really apreciate pure rock,i mean i love alt-rock but i still apreciate the concept of pure rock

  • @lolol986678 guns and oses arent kicking around anymore -.-

only the rose is left.. not more bang to their buck...

and yeah i know what ya mean.. but meh.. i still play some good old rock myself...

old acdc style.. chuck berry style.. xyz style.. fuck yeah

  • @helldemon618 yea actually my x played alot of acdc..it wasnt that bad...wut do you think of buck cherry?

  • @lolol986678 ghehe you just taught me about a new band ^^

listening right now... liking it so far.. a bit... weird o_o too soon to say if i really dig it...

  • @lolol986678 Buckcherry rules, I enjoyed their raunchy songs but they decided to knock that off because they felt they'd get more air play making clean songs. They are sortof right but clean = boring most of the time.

  • @MasterJediKyleKatarn hehe..yes, yes it does...Nickelback is AWESOME for that exact reason..plus they have that real rock sound..i lovee Nickelback

  • @OshawaGeneralsFan5 my daughter is 24 and she hears me playing my music like Fire Woman and she comments "the 80's must have been a fun time to live in". The 80's was the best decade i ever lived in.

  • @SuperAllan1964 i was 7 months too late to see the 80s, but if I could time travel just one time, I'd go to the 80s

  • @SuperAllan1964 That is so true... It's sad that the younger generation today having nothing in music like what was available back than.. My entire social life at that time revolved around the music of the day..You don't see anything like that happening today.

  • There are some sad comments here; a lot of aging heroes clinging desperately to their youth by one-upping their rock and roll peers. If you are over 40 and still acting like a teenager, maybe you should have a look at why your life is so hopeless and empty. Maybe, maybe next time you could enjoy the song without a wildly exaggerated comment on here? I don't know...

  • @TheBaldapap yea it reminds us of better times.before all this madness, like the iraq war, america looking like fools spending all our coin.sure thats what music does it brings back a better place in time..your comment is just plain rude.we all feel or think of a place when you hear a certain song.sounds like you forgot your A.d.d meds.we did not have those,we had a ass whopping.like the youth needs today.

  • @TheBaldapap Sounds like you should worry about your own life and stop worrying about others. My life is excellent.

  • what the hell happened to rock music.we got garbage now a days.

  • This is when rock music ruled! Today rock music sucks!

  • each version is good. The Cult is harder rock, which is always good but its harder to understand what hes saying (i only know coz i watched Crush 40's one). Crush 40 is easier to understand, but not as hard. In conclusion, this ones music, Crush 40's singer.

  • @nitrodudezoom YES!

  • the song of blaze the cat \o/

  • This is also done by Crush 40, band for Sonic the Hedgehog

  • One of my favorite memories of my whole life....

When my son was about 3 (late 80s), I would be crankin' this song, and my kids loved it. When he'd sing along with the chorus, he'd say "thump-ee-iz-a-wize-oh!" (.. smoke, she is a risin' =). My boy's in his mid-20s now, and a bad-ass guitar player. We still love to chuckle about that. I'll text it to him out of the blue once in a while, and he busts up. =)

Still makes me grin & giggle every time I hear this song.

  • I got my first speeding ticket listening to this song!

  • @YeeehawYall . YEAH, IT'S HARD TO BANG YOUR HEAD AND KEEP THE SPEED DOWN

  • one of the best rock songs of all time. when i was younger in the 90s...elementary school years...i remember hearing this and rocking out to it. all these years later i still get giddy when it comes on.

  • If someone asked me for an example of what a rock and roll song is, this would be on my list, it has every major element, including grabbing you and never letting go.

  • This is my favvvvvv song!! Love it so much... always cranked! :)

  • One word.... EPIC!

  • Wow, some of these people sound like awesome parents XD keep on rockin' in the free world?!!!
