  • I also use viper/task but whenever I do the thunderknuckle to taskmaster assist the assist comes to slow or something any advice

  • For some awkward reason, TK M cancel combos don't work on Vergil unless he's in a corner. They all seem to knock him JUST out of range of the next hit. I thought it was a size thing, so I tried it on every vanilla character, but they all get hit... I thought maybe it was a "new character" thing, so I tried it on some of the new members and it works... I thought it was a size thing, so I specifically tried RR and "STARS" (Nemesis) and it works on both of them. All the more reason to hate Vergil.

  • @flurryous2 it's possible to link crouching M after a TK M cancel...have you tried that?

  • @NegiBozu Wow... I haven't been on the comp in 5 days, but on the day I jump on, I got a message less than an hour ago... Other times, I'll jump on and see a message 2 days old even though I never got up (which is unhealthy, and something you should never do). Talk about timing...

    To answer your question, no, I never tried it. I kinda just ignored it and went for the good ol' box loop. I'll be certain to try it the next time I touch Ultimate, though. Thanks for the tip.

  • @flurryous2 I just tested it myself and the crouching medium works...but the funny thing is I'm trying it on Virgil and most of the time the standing medium connects too. I only get that "out of range" thing occasionally. Trying to figure out what causes it.

  • @flurryous2 Figured it out. He's only out of range of a s. M if you use a c. H before the TK M cancel. So you either have to c. H, TK M (cancel) c. M -OR- s. H, TK M (cancel) then either s. M or c. M

  • Can you make a tutorial on how to do the burn kick feint combo?

  • On that second combo where you hit 999.600 damage, would doing a seismo before the hyper break 1,050,000 or will the combo drop due to scaling?

  • @NegiBozu The seismo at the end is very hard to connect. I've done it before but due to consistency issues on dashing down immediately after the instant j.S for knockdown I just go for the hyper.

  • Also, do you have a notation for these anywhere?

  • How are you getting st. M after Med TK in the first combo? Is it a 1 frame link?

  • How do u get 2 siesmo hammers in a row?

  • @TilTenJr you jump cancel them, and do seismo again and repeat...

  • @TilTenJr by doing a tiger knee motion. you do a regular siesmo, then your 2nd input for the dp motion has to end with pressing up/foward. it takes a bit of getting used to, but with constant practice you could learn how to siemso spam properly after 2 or 3 weeks.

    don't play cviper (mag player here) but she looks like a character that takes skill, has lots of flashy stuff, and cool looking jump loops. Great video, shows what she's capable of :)

  • @TheRockstarr93 It works on most characters, but they have to be standing in most cases. I rarely do it unless I'm already in a corner or I see they're standing, and even then I'll only do it on the average size character.

  • @DCBangaz It just takes timing really. It's not an automatic thing. Just got to delay some inputs. You generally want the opponent to be about no lower than waist high to catch them in the next seismo from where you land into M H seismo

  • Hey how are you doing those thunder knuckle>thunder knuckle or thunder knuckle>burning kick setups? I can only do one of each.

  • @Atma01 You can cancel you thunder knuckle by pressing special after you hit your opponent its a two frame window for you to do it then you can press c.M to s.H thunder knuckle M again then S to cancel it after you hit your opponent again. It takes practice its not impossible. train by doing- s.H, TK xxSxx ,c.M or s.H -till you get the rhythm down then repeat 2 more times. hope this helps

But 1 thing was confusing me, how do you change sides when doing the burn kick feint combo as i saw earlier @ 2:41 because i really really found that it looked extremely sexy :D! With this video i think i really dont have to look at another Viper combo video in Ultimate your far ahead of any other!!

  • @kellerprime lol. Ironically enough I did make all the combos overnight. I really didn't test out viper stuff in ultimate until a day before I made this video. And I found enough stuff to make a decent length video. That one where i switch sides kind of comes with ultimate changes to hurtboxes in the air. She can easily go under characters if you don't know how to do stair kick loop right. So I made a new variation to deal with this.

  • You always have great resets, the feint at 4:28 was so ambiguous i had to pause to see it

  • I'm in need of some Nova assist combos. any tips?:( 

  • @BiGShell Javelin is a good option if you're using that assist in a team which needs some defense or vertical control, (note: javelin does hard knockdown when hitting opponent in the air) therefore use it with a character like viper who has an otg that helps them work their way into a combo. If using the "ageis reflector" assist, you can set-up cross-up situations or defensively again* and as for his last assist, it's best used for unblockable set-up since it's an overhead.

  • I don't mean to impose but I was wondering if you could write some basic parts of the combo to help clarify things that may be a little more difficult to see when watching the execution.
