I watched this when I was a kid.It's a cool story.I think it has someting to do with a myth that the little people from The Wizard of Oz were little party animals wile they were off the movie set.Not sure if that was a true story.

For some reason i thought this movie had yellow brick road in the title as i knew it had something to do with 'The wizard of oz' finally i have found it and ordered it on DVD. I do'nt give a rats ass how bad it is i just remembered i really liked it. Thank you for posting love chevy chase in these types of movies.

I just found out the mane of this movie. For some reason I dont know they used to play this movie at my school in the gym, they reunited all elementary school and sat us in the floor to enjoy this movie ( they did this like 2 or 3 times.... I had been looking for it for a while.... and finnaly I did.... it reminds me of a great time in my childhood, I was 6 years old and was in first grade, this was in 1984.... I would love to see it again and own it for my collection....

It's not a good movie. It is a silly movie and I too enjoyed it when I was a kid. Back then I watched anything associated with Star Wars. Anything. I know better now, but I saw this movie at least 50 times. I would see it again, for old time sake.

Well, it did get the belated DVD release, but Netflix doesn't carry it. I do remember renting the VHS version twice at Blockbuster back in the 1990s because both times I was in a good mood to see it. Who knows? Maybe Netflix will carry it one day.

OMG!!! I remember this movie because it has one of the funniest lines EVER!!!! A guy is ordering an ice cream sundae, so the waitress asked him, "Would you like chopped notes with that?" He replied: "Would you like your tits smashed?" HILARIOUS!!!! IF ANYONE HAS THE MOVIE PLEASE UPLOAD THAT SEEN!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Yeah, I remember seeing this in the theatre as a kid... it was a stinker of a movie, that's probably why it's so hard to find. It's just as crap as 'Corvette Summer' with Mark Hamil. Movies like that should be permanently destroyed.

It is on DVD. It's just sorta hard to find if you don't know where to look. Google "WB Archive" for the Warner Brothers Archive. They have it for $19.95. Turner Classic Movies also has it.

This movie is not on DVD and has been out of print for 25 years. I finally found a crappy used vhs copy on ebay and it cost me 50 bucks to get it. Hardly anyone i know has even heard of this movie. I'd upload it, but I have no clue how to transfer it from VHS to my computer. If anyone knows how, drop me a line and I'll see about getting it on here.

This movie is finally available on DVD, it was released 24Feb2010. Its wierd how hardly no one knows or there is very little about this movie considering the big names like Chevy Chase and Carrie Fisher which I must say looked gorgeous in this movie. I remember sneaking to see movie on HBO when parents were at work cause I was not allowed to watch it cause I believe it was rated R. Those were the days I was barley 10 yrs old.

That's awesome! I'm going to Best Buy today. But, it was rated PG. However, it does have nudity in it (in the scene towards the end when Billy Barty barges into the women's dressing room).

I know "Under the Rainbow" is a dumb movie and it is not on DVD, but as a devoted lifelong fan of Chevy Chase and this movie being a guilty pleasure, could you upload the entire movie? I see a lot a bad movies fully uploaded on this site.
