  • This was the one of the best rap joints from 1989. I love the samples of Johnny Pate's Shaft In Africa(1973) and Pleasure's Let's Dance(1976). Two joints still used for b-boying/b-girling to this day.

99% of "rappers" today are pure shit!

Just whining about their money, bitches and "rapping shit about others + no own ideas (Puffy piff a good example) Hip-hop died in the early 90s!

  • does anyone remember the cookie crew interview with fishbone on night network??? hilarious

  • It does feel good to have experienced the conscious period of hip hop, when people actually rapped!

  • Ha ha Fab Five Freddy putting on a Brit accent! LOL

  • I love the beat on this track!

  • I recall this, even though their name was more well known than there music. They had good MC skills, but their songs and beats were whack. Without hearing them talk, I could tell they were European as they have that foreign look.

  • Foreign? What do you mean foreign! They're from London!'

  • them bitches have got gud lyrics

  • they have something sexy!!!

  • I'm not a rap or hip hop afficionado usually but if it was all as good (even nearly as good) as this I would be : )

Loved it back in early 90's and hearing (and seeing) it now for first time since then, love it still.

  • I once saw these gals in groove records london, I didnt say anything as i was a bit young and they were lookin good good good

  • When I first heard these sisters rap i was impressed with their rhyme flow, then when i seen them in video i wanted to fly out their to the UK n ask at least one of them for their hand in marriage.

  • What was the lyric that caught you they same standard!?

    -Stosa!

  • anybody know whats up with them ?

  • Yeah Kid..Door Knockers and Triple Fat Goose coats..peep Fab Five Freddy @ 0:05 and MC Serch from 3rd Bass @ 3:23

  • just took me back too cal-arts.

  • What a F8cking great duo these were, i loved them!!!

  • I remember this group!!!!! they never gave them much airplay but I always remebered them because I thought they were really good. I was a kid back then. I miss real hip-hop. Yes, yes yall, hip-hop is dead

  • Unfortunately those days i gone...oh how I miss dem!!

  • this is real hip hop. the cookie crew was dope! stetsasonic and derek b. did their production for them.

  • I am actually surprised at the amount of people responding to this type of hip hop on YouTube. This was at a point in time when hip hop was really getting it's legs and walking over the Earth. Ahh.....nostalgia.

  • lol , we are old if we remember this song .

  • we broke away... and faded away...

  • 1989...sigh...days of grace for hip-hip.

  • oh my god, i missed them, shit, what happened to them,

  • Around 1989, I believe, I instantly thought they were dope and had merit and their rhyming just right on point and fantastic.

  • damn taking it back to 1989 i was in the 9th grade when this came out, i remember me and my homeboy got this like a few days apart

  • memorieeeeeeeeeees

  • Hot as Fuck, I'm from Chicago, one of my favorite groups back in the days.

  • I HAD THAT TRIPLE FAT GOOSE!!

  • Superb tune but this video looks like it cost two fiddy!

  • i love how the videos cost about 50p to make...theyre terrible, but its better than todays efforts who seem to spend more time making a video that making sure the music is any good.

these guys can get away with terrible videos because the track is just all kinds of sick!

    cheers for posting this.

  • This song is the shit..It's real rap a it's finest..From the Stetsasonic production to the TRIPLE FAT GOOSES..Fab 5 Freddy & Serch in the video..Yo Thx For Posting It

  • I'm glad you enjoyed this. I'm a HUGE fan of them and this track. I had to post this.
