Perhaps a rigging of two pieces tied together forming a "T" from which the card can hang from possibly just "looped" around each other so they can slide back and forth providing the "Travelling" effect. The ending with him on the bed is odd as he chooses to bring HIMSELF to the position of the card rather then bring the card over to himself, guess the disruption of the whole rig might have been noticed or maybe the gear is just not something he would want to break. =)

Ya. it definately seems to provide the "bounce" in mid air suggesting a horizontally suspended string and his hand motions when he closes his arms around it and especially when they unclose and move to the next gesture are clearly moving to avoid making contact.

You have nnnoooo idea how strong the magnets would have to be...They'd interfere with the camera's image, even. Maybe, very small but powerful, hanging from the cieling, but his hand movements would interfere, and moving his hand in the way wouldn't interfere with a magnet.

Here's how this works: 2 strings, one that goes from the top left corner area (his right side, like on the wall) which is of course attached with Magician's wax to the card, and the other simply continues along the other side down to like the floor, or lower right wall (his left side).

its very obvious: the string is hanging from the celling, when he moves the card from right to left and vicversa, he is putting the string between his thumb and first finger and pushing it. and when he tries to prove is not a string he passes de upper hand behind the string!! so the card doesnt move. thats all

It is a string on the ceiling. The hand over top is a perspective thing it doesnt actually go over it, instead it is an inch behind the string, thus making it an illusion.
