no this is total bullshit, these darts that are used for that blowgun are really frail. The tip was in perfect condition. There is no way that it could of punctured that quarter and remain untouched.

I don't know about the validity of this. I have to wonder why the PVC barrel didn't blow off since it was just a slip fit. I've shot some crazy stuff out of air cannons and know they are powerful. It is possible the needle could penetrate the soft quarter, but I think the back half of the needle would have been bent or broke off from the sudden stop. I saw this happen shooting a 1/4" fiberglass rod through 3/4" walnut veneer plywood.

Not fake. You'd be surprised how fast a pneumatic spud gun can crank out a blowgun dart. I've done this several times actually. When the dart strikes the quarter, it unloads all its energy on that tiny little point. They penetrate rather easily.
