I am a Aerosmith fan, and I think Tyler is a better singer but for whatever reason the Cult did nail the song a little better, I guess some songs just fit certain bands and voices better then others.

I freaking love Aerosmith. Like LOVE them. However, Ian Astbury's voice is so passionate I have to say I like that version better. I'm kind of surprised though because Steven Tyler is no stranger to passion.

Somehow, I like The Cult version better - there is so much passion in Ian Astbury's voice tho' Steven Tyler's voice is, per se, superior to that of Ian. Also, I think in the context of the movie, this is too melodic and in the opening lines, too much accompaniment ! Well, that's how I feel ! :-)
