A lot! This was kind of a sequel (I'll spare you the legal details between GCC and Midway), and apparently Pac & MsPac got together later and has Jr. Pac.
Anyway, the differences :
1. MsPac has (pseudo)random monsters; Pac-Man does not;
2. MsPac has (pseudo)random fruits; Pac does not;
3. Plus the fruits jump around; in Pac they are stationary;
4. In MsPac there are 4 maze-types, Pac has only 1;
5. MsPac has 141 boards at most, Pac has 256 at most (Arcade anyway);
In Ms. Pac-Man you cannot use patterns like in Pac-Man, because Blinky & Pinky's movements are randomized for the first 7 seconds of each board. This was purposely programmed to counteract patterned play. Outside of those 7 seconds however, you can use little "sub-patterns", because the monsters' A.I.s in essence bends them to your will as each one of them will go in the same direction given identical scenarios for that particular monster. : )

What is it that makes blinky speed up? how do you know when he's going to do it? I'd always assumed it was random. Is there any way to predict when the second reverse is for the ghosts?
Blinky speeds up after eating a certain number of dots. This number decreases after every 3 boards (meaning Blinky speeds up sooner) until after board 21 when all things remain equal. I don't know the exact number of dots, but for example on the Strawberry board he speeds up when there are only a few dots left at the end; on board 21 he speeds up when comparatively few dots are eaten.
The 1st reversal is after 7 seconds, the 2nd reversal is 20 seconds after that. If an energizer is eaten before those reversal, then the 'reversal-timer' is stopped and will continue counting after the last blue ghost is back to its normal color.
There is actually also a 3rd reversal, which occurs about 19 min. after the 2nd one. :)
yes no body can clear 44 levels in 8 minutes but if u press F11 then level clear without playing n its the only way to clear 44 levels in less then 8 minuts n i comment it on CBOZ54321 comment,i once did 44 levels in 8 minutes has any1 done better.
After level 21, levels of four are repeated 28 times (=112), so in total there are 133... plus 8 possible extra levels depending on the 'mood' of the machine you're playing on, i.e. the amount of extra levels is random. Strangely, it either gives 1, 2, 3, 4, or 8 extra levels after the 133rd, but never only 5, 6, or 7
