nice flying.i got the nexus on order, should be in the mail tomorrow, cant wait.
I was at wal mart a few weeks ago and see this small Sport kite made by Eolo and it was like 12 bucks but i think they had them marked down too sell,
lol so i figured id pick it up.Its actually not that bad,but it seems a bit heavy. its115 x 70 cm and weights 124 grams. .Not sure if its my flying skills or what not,but its best when the winds are higher. like 20 -30klm.
Ive only flown this small one 3 times for about 2hrs per session and im getting the hang of it.Just the normal loops etc and holding sideways on the outer side of the wind envelope. So plans are too train on these 2 for abit and maybe get the 4D or the Quantum...
Eolo is a decent kite company, although the kite sounds really small. There may be some adjustments that you can make to the bridle to get it to fly in lower wind, I'd have to see it to say for sure. It is always good to have a kite for high winds, too. I've thought about getting a Nexus, it's one of the few Prisms that I don't have.
@must86 yes it small,as for the Adjustments im not sure. All i do is the LARKSHEAD KNOT on the end of my line and it come tight with the knot on the Bridle.ive been reading on the Prism forum's ,ill have too look again on "how too adjust the bridles etc..im sure i seen it there somewhere.
sorry I comment this one..check out my videos..even begnners kites fly very well..I like Eolo kites more than others.Visit Europe and you can see more people have Over or Neox than something else..very popular..all competition(pro level) with those kites...
P:S. company invite best designers abroad to tune up their kites.(your D.Gross , some french and italians..)
Cheers, dont be fooled by suggestion on kite forums..Just buy Over and you will see..
@fourmatic4 I've heard some good things about certain Eolo kites, and I wouldn't mind trying one. They're a little rare to see retail over in the states, though. I do actually have a couple of Radsail foils, that are made by Eolo.
I would skip the Quantum for your next kite, once you can keep the kite under good control, invest in something that will keep you entertained for a while like the Zephyr or E3. The Z is my favorite of all the Prism kites.
Very nice video. I have been flying dual lines kites and have several including the Pyro, but I don't have a light wind kite. Would you recommend the 4D?
Thanks for liking the video... taking video has been a good tool for learning to fly for me...
The 4D is you best bang for the buck light wind kite, the only thing about it that's a drag is that it's very small. Twice as big would be twice as good. There are some other kites that are more expensive that are larger, and fly in the same lack of wind. I wouldn't fly the 4D in winds higher than 5mph, BTW, I've heard of breakage issues.
