adding wings gives your creature a "glide" value and allows it to jump higher. i dont think actual flight will be in the full game unfortunately.

The trial version has insect wings, but that's it. And I don't think the insect wings have all that many channels. Oh well. Not long to wait for the full version.

I think wings were quite a late addition - they certainly didn't start appearing in screenshots till recently. It's likely that they won't look quite right now, but that the animation for them will be updated by the time of release (less than 3 Months!!!!)
