Linda has a mixed Brit accent because she lived in England for a while and when you are surrounded by the accent you pick it up. I am from Midwest but moved to NYC now I have a NY accent. It happens.

Both Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison discovered their dads were Beatles by watching Yellow Submarine on TV as pre-schoolers. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mary, Stella, James and later Beatrice found out the same way. Julian Lennon and Ringo's kids grew up in the 60's when their dads were in the Beatles.

Paul later said that he learned, the hard way, not to pay any attention to anything John said in the press. He knew John had a tendency to pop off to a reporter or interviewer.
