He got hit by a stunt man in training. The stunt man clashed his light sable with rays really hard but it bent on impact and caught him in the face because they are just flexible rods.

a hit? do you mean the black under his eyes? If so, it's because when he wears the make up it obscures a little of your vision a bit, so to get use to it he practices with the shadows.

On Ken's 'Hamlet' DVD 'behind the scenes' they have a similar deal with traditional sword fighting and it also is fun to watch the process - it is choreographed and is indeed a dance, in actuality. I like that idea.

Yes, very much like a dance and same with any traditional sword fights....hard to comprehend how they pull this off so well and so convincingly....looks difficult; hard work. Loved Ewan's last move, when he was being funny. He is so cute.

it is! it's like a dance choreography with lots of jumps and leaps, except that you have to time it perfectly, or else you get whacked! :D

Just done a week of stage combat. Did sword and dagger work and unarmed combat, and its fucking hard!! all choreographed, practising is the key, its got to come from both actors..

In the TPM scrapbook, Ray Park said his favorite part of making the movie was the battles because of the energy Liam Neeson and Ewan gave him. (Ray is a stuntman, though, so of course he's going to say that XD). Now I can see what he means.
