I don't like these labels of conservative and liberal they have become too confused in recent years, try statist vs anti-statist, or collectivist vs individualist. I'm interested in Jefferson as he seems to be the best of the founding fathers so I would like to hear your critique of him. Washington is second in my eyes, cause the prohibition thing...

I'm guessing his list would probably consist of: Lincoln, FDR, Adams, T. Roosevelt, GW Bush, Wilson, LBJ, Nixon, Truman, McKinley, etc.
