@SadisticScott - that was actually one of the things that drew me to libertarian philosophy. The fact that I like to watch that in the privacy of my own home is nobody else's business, except my Creator, if you believe in one. We've become such an intrusive society. The fact that my uncle needs society and government's permission to be with the guy he loves blows my mind. It's nobody's business unless they want it to be. Everyone's always trying to get approval from others. Be who you are.
There is only two paries in Canada I would even consider voting for... The Libertarians, and the Canadian Action Party (which are pretty much Libertarian in princiapal as well... so, since there is no Libertarian running, I will spoil my ballot
I have never smoked marijuana, but I also don't eat whole or sliced, raw tomatoes, and I respect those who do. I'm also straight and I find the idea of homosexual sex gross, but I respect those who are gay. Being a defender of freedom means that you believe that you don't have a right to tell people what to do just because you disagree with their decisions.
Dennie Young is running in Harpers riding Calgary Southwest. A vote for Dennis does help get the Libertarian Party of Canada more funds for the next election.
In other words even if he can't win a vote for Dennis Young is NOT wasted at all!
@KeithFagin no such thing as a wated vote. The only wated vote is a vote not cast. I don't like the traditional parties (at least not anymore since I woke up), but if you don't vote (I don't consider spoiling your balot as a non vote) you have no right to whine about anything

not sure what riding you're in (you might want to mention that, duh) but wherever it is, I doubt the incumbent is in any danger, LOL.
