  • can i use this clip? i will give credit :)

  • gosh who would've manged to stay ON

  • omg, at alltech weg, i meet her and got a picture and autograph with beezie. best day of my life!

  • if you look closely at the horses left ( are left ) foot he rolls his ankle.

  • @judgeponyjumper He was okay though. He actually went on to jump a couple of the obstacles by himself.

  • Kso which one of you haters could sit to a horse falling like that. Nobody? Exactly.

  • that jump was WAY to high for that horse!!

  • @cjschulth Authentic has won multiple Grand Prix. He certainly has no problem with the height.

  • @ABonner93 I no ive seen her LIVE at the american invitational last year -.- but the horse turned to soon and got a bad start the way they took the vid made it look that the horse was smaller

  • Nice safe fall. One of the best riders in the world.

  • The fall itself cracks me up...he's jumping fine, then randomly, it's like he gets scared of heights and just flails around XD

  • Aww poor Beezie, she's such a great rider and Authentic is such a great jumper. That was actually a pretty good fall (as in Beezie wasn't left behind or anything, and she fell quite softy, considering the height of those fences... Authentic recovered well, too).

  • @RingoEventer

    "Authentic recovered well, too)."

    I'll say! He went on to jump several fences without her! It was so funny to see!!!

  • @ImmortalSynn Wow, are you serious?? That is a true jumper at heart!! :)

  • @RingoEventer

    The video of it is uploaded here...

  • @ImmortalSynn Yes, it sure is uploaded, that's why we all can watch it. But it never shows him jumping fences without her, so I had assumed that you saw that in a longer video. Sorry for the misunderstanding :)

  • @RingoEventer

    I'm not talking about this video. Two seconds of effort would've shown you that I was speaking of the one uploaded by user "StunningX" which shows the aftermath of this same fall, where he went on to jump.

  • @ImmortalSynn But..... you didn't include the link. A bit misleading.....

  • @ImmortalSynn I really didn't want to get in a fight about this, so let's not. The reason thought you said it like that was because I did NOT know you can't post links in comments, and I read it a thousand time to try to understand it in a different way, waited like 3-4 days to see if you would say something else. You can't have "trust" in everyone you meet online. But you see, it wasn't me. Read your comment as if you were me. Now try to "guess" in the way you expected me to. Understand now?

  • @RingoEventer

    "You can't have "trust" in everyone you meet online."

    ...that comment totttttallly flew over your head. *sigh*

  • @ImmortalSynn Curious, why do you keep quoting me and not reconsidering what YOU said?

  • @RingoEventer

    Because I'm at a complete and total loss as to how this could possibly be, in any way, so complicated for you. Next question?

  • @ImmortalSynn *Laughs* Complicated? Look who's talking

  • @ImmortalSynn You're trying to put my words into yours, and failing the attempt

  • @RingoEventer

    I'm not trying to do anything... other than figure out what you're still yapping about-- I've since quit paying much attention. Watch the vid and go away, sheesh. Strange.

  • @ImmortalSynn You DON'T NEED TO FIGURE OUT ANYTHING ABOUT ME OR WHAT I'M DOING. You can worry about someone else (Oh my!) - you. You can try all ya like, but you can't tell me to leave anywhere. At least I'm not the ARROGANT one who doesn't know what they're talking about, sheesh. -_-

  • @RingoEventer

    LOL, calm down kiddie. How weird, what are you even freaking out about? Then again, no need to answer. I'm done... can't continue a battle a wit against someone so obviously unarmed in that regard. Later.

  • @ImmortalSynn "Unarmed"... I'm ending this, but I'm laughing now. You have nooooooooooo idea......

  • Not only is it hard to stay on a falling horse, Authentic was a very very hard horse to ride.....It was amazing everything she won on that horse!!! Anyone who is to think she is a bad rider just because she fell off, I would like to see you try and ride that horse :)

  • In the CN Reliability Cup, her horse did something very similar (it wasn't Authentic) but she didn't fall off, and she ended up retiring. I love that woman and her knowledge.

  • @ThisIsRiskyBizness woah wait. beezie madden retired!!!????

  • @xbrowneyedxgirl The round, yes. As in she excused herself from the rest of the jumping round haha.

  • thats the one were authentic goes and jumps 2

    jumps without her

  • :07 Front right fetlock = D:

  • look at 7 seconds you can see authentics left hoof slip out from under him :'(

  • that horse totally pwned the jump!

  • ILUVBEEZIE!!!!!! her horse is so cute!

  • poor horse!!! =(

    So hoch muss man wirklich net springen!!!! Des hat meiner Meinung nix mit reiten zu tun!

  • you can see her shake her left foot out of her stirrup

  • that looked like it hurt

  • So true. I have been riding all my life, compete at all the international horse shows, do 3-day eventing, and have fallen off many times!!!

  • at 0:02 - 0:04 you can see the horse flick the shoe off, it the back left leg

  • @SmeezySisters that was the saddle pad flying up...

  • @Luneytoon121 No, i'm looking at the leg. Not the saddle pad, which is why i said back leg .

  • @SmeezySisters ohhhhh i saw him flick his leg i thought u meant the show came off thats why i said it was the saddle pad

  • @Luneytoon121 :) all goods. can you see the shoe come off? you can see it for a flicker of a second

  • @SmeezySisters pooh yeah i can!

  • he definatly threw a shoe, right before they fell, left front shoe, watch closely

  • @13horseluvr - aiy it was the shoe that did it, diff.o

  • falling off makes u a better rider :) i learned that the hard way xD

  • To reach the sky, you have to fall on the ground.

  • In order to be a good rider, you have to fall off.

  • Just goes to show; even the best fall; in fact; if you haven't fallen; I would guess you've not ridden much; She did NOT make a mistake; the horse fell!

  • Just goes to show; even the best fall; in fact; if you haven't fallen; I would guess you've not ridden much

  • Even the best riderss fall off, especially the best cuz they do more dsangerous things

  • Same thing said again and again, but I'd really really love to see people (who happen to be on their asses while judging) make a complete fool of themselves trying to sit this, or even actually trying the course at all.

    You see, theres this thing called gravity...

  • I love Beezie! We all fall...

  • everybody falls ;)

  • That's the kind of situation where you kind of HAVE to fall... Not many people could ride through that... if ANY!

  • I hope the horse was okay..

  • I would just ignore the comments. They are probably from people who are just jealous they can't ride that well.

  • i live how authentic went and finished the course by himself horses are just amazing like that

  • ouch

  • trust me she was better off bailing than if she would have stayed on. lol

  • lol fail, love you Beezie

  • i saw the full thing it was so funny! her horse jumped 2 jumps :D

    beezie is such a good rider, her and edwina alexander are my favs.

    the height of these jumps scare me though gah

  • Some people are retarded, I swear.

    Ok yeah, extensive years of 'hardcore' jumping can cause horses joint pain and injuries.

    But Olympic riders aren't some evil creatures that purposely hurt their horses. They can make mistakes and their horses can refuse and fall. So for all you ignorant asses thinking Beezie is such a bad person, get a life and don't watch her :]

  • lolz even the best fall :)

  • oh i remember seeing that on tv, i was all like "nooooooooooo! not beezie!" and then i laughed when i watched authentic go and do the next jump!

  • i think beezie took the riskier route, cut the turn, thereby jumping this HUGE oxer at an angle. Authtic didn't have the momentum ir impulsion to stay n the air, so he fumbled. It happenes, too bad @ the World Cup tho!!!!!

  • I love how after this, Authentic continues to jump one jump then runs around someone and jumps another jump.

  • that horse had to hurt his back legs

  • wow!!

  • if you watch the longer, extended version of this particular incident you can see Authentic kept jumping after beezie had fallen off, and wouldn't have done this if it didn't physically and mentally enjoy jumping this height. watch a video of Shutterfly jumping, that horse also clearly loves the competitive showjumping scene!

  • das ist mir auch mal pasirt.

    meine reitlererin:kopf hoch das kanst du besser:)

  • Okay. No fighting. Shame. Sorta.

    The fall was Beezie's fault, she took the turn too sharply, but Authentic stumbled a bit coming up. Probably because he was trying to straighten ad didn't quite see the jump coming up so fast.

  • @HunterJumper860 god people dont get some stuff do they. lol. she runs her courses a lil fast anyway. all i have seen she has, the horse is an awesome horse. im glad neither of them got hurt

  • poor authentic^^

    ~~~Dortae~~~
  • Comment removed
  • everyone falls... (sigh) it makes you a better rider!!
    i've had my share... ;P
  • She's one of the best riders in the world, but that jumping error was her fault. She didn't give him a chance to straighten out to the big jump. Came in from a sharp turn. She later admitted her mistake in an interview. And, for those of you not familiar with a Grand Prix level horse, they LOVE to jump the big jumps. There's no way you could compete at that level if the horse wasn't wanting to do it and loving it!
  • well jumping is fine for them just not when they go too high. i say not much over 4ft should be done
  • Amen , Hoselevr22, Now you are a smart person , these assholes have no idea the damage it does to their joints and how many horses are over by 10 , crippled from joint pain
  • i'm not agreeing with you but i'm not disagreeing, i'm just stating its not good for the horses legs. and apparently people don't like hearing my opinion cuz my comment got a -6 down
  • Right... which is why Anthem was still doing grand prix classes successfully at 18. Horses that do this level are extremely well cared for. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a grand prix horse in a respectable barn that was "over by 10."
    Everyone take a chill pill ;)
  • Do you honestly believe that if the horses were uncomfortable and didn't enjoy what they're doing, that they would continue to? Look at any of the horses going around 1.40m+ courses. Their ears are up, they're bright-eyed, and giving their best efforts. That's hardly the picture of something that is being crippled.
    All I am saying is that you need to check your facts before you spout off on the internet. It's perfectly fine to disagree with a practice, but that doesn't make it abusive.
  • Actually if you look at Olympic horses most of them are over 10 years old
  • @rodeosabuseanimals I'm sorry, but I find that a biased comment. Olympic-level jumping horses are not usually "over by 10" as they are not even ALLOWED to go in the Olympics until 9 years old, so the owners are very careful to keep them sound as long as possible. Yes, there are some uneducated owners who overjump their horses and ruin them young, but isn't this true for every horse discipline? Look at the number of racehorses, barrel racers, reiners who are ruined due to the hard work at such...
  • 2/2 ... a young age, before bones are fully formed. I'm sure that working horses too hard, too fast also causes injury in dressage, polo, etc. When practiced correctly, jumping horses can stay sound for a VERY long time, as most of the training is done on the flat (working on collection/extension/energy/response etc) or over ground poles (working on finding best take-off spot).
  • haha i dont think anyone ever said she was a bad rider..no one could possible stay on a horse falling down....who would want to stay on.
  • @colleenhello i stayed on a horse when it fell just its front end fell it wasent like what that horse did
  • for all the ppl that think olympic riders shouldnt fall off is stupid b/c everyone falls off..
  • I was watching this live whne it happened! I think Authentic lost a shoe over the jump which messed him up and beezie is not a bad rider, everyone falls!
  • yeah i was there to. He lost a shoe im not sure when. Authentic is an amazing jumper. I love her
  • these people who are leaving mean comments about how jumping horses is cruel are saying this because they just don't know any better. It's like saying trailering your horse is cruel if there is an accident. They're not well educated in the sport of jumping or eventing and they just love to comment and bitch about whatever they can. i say we all just ignore these morons.
  • your tottaly right
  • ok for the record just because someone jumps their horse high doesn't automatically mean they are abusing it. yes some people abuse their horses but it's not EVERYBODY so all of you people who are knocking horseback ridng because you think it's "inhumaine" needs to get over it. people who really care about their horses wouldn't abuse them or put them in danger. and yes horses who are physically able to jump do enjoy it. i can go by my own experience with that. the horse i ride gets really(cont)
  • excited when we jump so don't say that every horse is being forced to do this. a horse that is injured or not able to safely jump the height or sore will put up a fight but a horse that is sound won't.
  • If the horse didn't want to do it, he wouldn't be. The horses love their jobs, and it's most definitely not all about ego. In ALL equestrian sports the horses can be damaged by rider errors. It's our job to make sure that that DOESN'T happen through fitness, patience, and correct training methods. We all make mistakes... horses might misjudge and hit a rail with their knee. Sometimes the rail comes down, and sometimes the horse's balance is compromised. I'm not saying that the horse's (cont.)
  • health and safety isn't of utmost importance, but I am saying that the horses enjoy this, and it is not stupidity or an inflated ego that drives the horse and rider to jump these fences. So please, don't knock a sport just because of one mistake in one moment. We all make them, whether it's caused by horse or rider, and whether you're an eventer, a dressage rider, or a reiner... it really doesn't matter.
  • Right. Whatever you say.
  • oh she need to get over herself. (ottopasquier) IF THIS IS ABUSE!! im sure the RSPCA wouldnt let people do these types of shows and take the horses away and im sure there would be a lot of protest things but guess what... THERE ISNT..so shut the hell up
    -.-
  • so your saying i abuse my pony? bcoz i jump her high and bcoz i get her in an outline no im not abusing her its called "good riding" and i wasnt alking about the stuff in us and the elephants an stuff i was just talking about this stuff jumping. I DO NOT ABUSE MY PONY NOT EVERYONE BULLIES THERE HORSE IN TO THESES THINGS.
  • yessome people do abuse there horses i ahve worked with someone .. a top dressage rider and he was going ride a horse with its mouth bleeding alot but what can you say i fort it was disgusting so i just left. some people do abuse there horses i ahve worked with someone .. a top dressage rider and he was going ride a horse with its mouth bleeding alot but what can you say i fort it was disgusting so i just left.
    do you even own a pony??
  • Just out of curiosity, and I'm not trying to instigate, where do you see it? Do you ride, or used to? What you're seeing perhaps doesn't include ALL riders and horses.
  • @SleazyKitten
    I can't stop laughing from this comment!
  • Sleazy Kitten shut the fuck off , you stupid spoiled brat , you do not know or refuse to see what is happening to these horses after so many of these idiotic jumps, you are a selfish little bitch
  • oh god get over it and you think normal dressage wouldn't be cruel? we don't care about you. some horses have fun jumping this heights. so please shut up.
  • that horse is going to be ore tomorrow!
    good thing they were both ok!
    ilove beezie and authentic!
  • ouch!
    poor authentic!
    lucky nobody was hurt!
    that was scary!
  • Gerco schroder is teh best!
  • aw!
  • poor, authentic! ) = that was scary!
  • ahh! i hate watching this... i payed close attention to Authentic's hind legs, and he really comes down on them hard!
    lucky they are both ok!
  • good thing they were both ok
  • If you look closely, it looks like the saddle comes up off the horses back.
  • SAME JUMP SHE FELL OFF IN THE OTHER VID CALLED:Beezie Madden Falls Off At World Cup 2007
  • that's because it's the same show.
  • that's because they're the same video. :P
  • Her horse that she was training fly something broke its leg so badly it had to be put down and that was in 2005 Rolex in Stadium
  • it was a big grey
  • Shit happens. She's still an amazing rider.
  • tzia... Meredith ist einfach besser =)
  • It is said that you're not a real rider untill you have fallen off 99 times. So quit talkin' bad about her, a rider learns something everytime she/he falls off. I mean thet a rider who has never fallen off, is a rider who never really learns and evolves.
  • 99 times... Lol I think you've got it wrong there. IU've heard it something way lower, cant remer what but just way lower.
  • Well, the 99 times you have to fall off isn't ment to be understood literally. It means that everytime you fall off, you learn something new (well MOST of the times). and therefore to have really learnt something, you must have fallen off 99 times :p Some of my friends says it's 10 times, it's different from person to person :)
  • Ah I'm with you now. I was just about to say who says lol. Yeah i supose its down to personal opionion lol.
  • my old instructor always said 100 times. :-/
  • my instructor says 100 times! only 95 more...
  • fluffykitty: really? I normally hear 7 lol. But I disagree whenever anyone says that. I don't think you're a real rider until you've gotten BACK ON after falling (and I mean on the same horse) 7 times (or 99 if you so believe). If you fall off and don't get back on, you haven't learned anything except how to be scared.
  • I do agree with you on the getting back on the horse thingie, otherwise it won't do any good to fall off. And the horse will learn that if the rider falls off, then it's done with the work, and that could result in the horse throwing people off deliberatly. And the 99 times isn't meant to be taken literally :-)
  • haha, i know, my general point tho is that it's not the number of falls, it's the number of get-back-ons (if that makes any sense) that determine who's a "real" rider.
  • well ok but u fall of to learn ur mistakes it was only one fall he has 2 experience a lot to know that chill out
  • o sorry in the profile thing i read it wrong i thought u said she was a bad rider sorry
  • Beezie Madden is an Olympic rider 4 a reason. EVERYONE falls, even the BEST of THE BEST fall! She's an amazing rider!
  • i saw the horse, she was like BAM!
  • Shes only human people! Give her a break! you get out there and do it!!!!
  • omg! i totally remember when this happnd!
  • she is not a bad rider she is a world champ P.S she is my favorite rider
  • Comment removed
  • oh shit
  • I'll be sure to tell her that.........
  • ok if you watch the video carefully after the horse lands hard on the ground look at its front left and its like broken in half!
  • that's his knee...
  • you my friend...are an idiot its leg did not break
  • noone thinks shes a bad rider idiot...she goes to the freaking olympics, that said.....
  • she didn't exactly set him up right, but I don't think it was totally her fault. Authentic just took off awkwardly.
    But they are both AMAZING!
  • what a great horse!!! how he moved aside not to step on her ;))
  • wa! putain
  • I want to meet/ride Authentic SOOO bad! Beezie's Awesome! (and she has a cool name lolz)
  • she came to a stable around where i live and this girl at my stable got to meet her and ride authentic!!!
  • yea right thats a lie
  • it happens, she's by no means careless
  • i love beezie!!!i got to talk to her at the invatationals!!!!
  • Not her day, eh? It would suck to pay all that money and then fall off. But i blame the shoe...though his feet should have been checked before the event, otherwise they wouldnt have come off. ether way. both rider and horse is awesome
  • Athentic is an amazing horse. He missed a jump o well he is still amazing i got to pet him and talk to beezie
  • blimy thats a big jump but good hors4 for attemptingg it
  • he can go WAY higher.
  • lol tat is one gooood horsey
  • Actually, Authentic threw a shoe. In a clip of the fall, they highlighted the show, which apparently threw him off, causing him to fall. Beezie said that in an interview after she fell. Really, I blame the shoe.
  • i LOVE beezie madden...i have a poster of her on my wall... haha
  • I remember this :) she's such a good rider.
  • ouch!!! but i love her lol
  • That would of been almost impossible to avoid.
  • 与马相处一定要小心些!wish!
  • uuugh i hate tht...he lookd rlly shokd!!!
