What a truly nice & gifted man.He gave so many people such enjoyment over a lengthy career. He did this without offending people too which these days seems impossible.
@scritti oh you can't say fuck all these days without getting accused of some shit like racism or god knows what fuck else
it really fucking pisses me off, i wish i could go back to these days gone by
all i seem to be surrounded by now is drunks junkies and asshole stars in show biz who shouldn't even be there cuz there not at all funny in the slightest
unfortunately we are all left with scumbags and all the nice people from days gone by are sadly passing away
Norman was truly a nice man. His humour was clean and he was gifted in making people happy. God bless his soul. I will never forget him and thatnks to the internet we can all still watch him
im only 16 but i still watch all of his films when i was a kid. he was one of the only comedians that can make me laugh every 30 seconds :) R.I.P Sir Norman Wisdom xxxxx
@emmalouiselee13 I love your expression when i was a kid That was Norman Wisdom The man who never grew up The man who made us all feel like kids Even 50years after first seeing him He makes me feel like when i was a kid Norman may have passed away Yet he is still and will be forever kept in our Hearts Old and Young alike So Sir Norman Wisdom Rest in Peace for You will forever keep us all feeling young From me and the rest of your adoring kids Thank You
unfortunetly in my country was to see only A stich in the time, but also in this one film was to see, how great acteur sir Norman was.Honour to him for ever.
ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST SO GLAD MY DAD MADE ME WATCH HIS FILMS AS A LAD COS NOW AT 25 I CAN SEE WHAT ONE OF THE BEST WAS LIKE LEGEND OF HIS TIME R.I.P SIR NORMAN WISDOM MISSED BY MANY BUT STILL MAKING LAUGHS UP IN HEAVEN I BET :)
@BloodyNicePoeple you have a great dad, there's too much sex and violence injected into modern humour to get cheap laughs. Norman Wisdom brought charm, humbleness and comedy into the lives of millions upon millions and he should be remembered. Sadly his own father gave him such sad memories but I believe he got the love back through his fans
sir norman wisdom i have a box set of all his films he was truly a legend the will never be anyone like norman rest in peace norman your work is dond may you find eternal rest R.I.P
@OnlyFoolsAndHorsesHQ I think Robbie Williams is the spitting image of the early Norman Wisdom, but I agree Norman needs to be remembered for eternity, such a beautiful man and a man I would dearly have loved to have met
He was also a gentleman of the highest order. I met Norman in the early fifties in Birmingham, England and at that time was playing pantomime in Cinderella. Later when he had made it to the big time, whenever he came back to Birmingham, he still stayed in the very modest lodgings saying that his landlady "cooked the best meals" and he saw no reason to be locked up in the 'swanky' hotels.
I temper my grief of losing such a funny man with the fact that he did have a long and happy life. He was such a talented guy.
I was introduced to his movies over 35 years ago, during late night movies on a Toronto channel, CFTO channel 9, watching "Just My Luck". I laughed myself silly, and got a stomach ache watching him! Sadly, they don't show his movies anymore. I did ask CHCH Channel 11 in Hamilton to show them, as they do the old movies, so here's hoping!
I lost my father in July and feel for his son and daughter , how proud they must be, remember this, people only die if you forget them. Norman will NEVER die. heartfelt throughts x Anna
A LEGEND of comedy , he will be sadly missed. There will be no more " TROUBLE IN STORE" for good old NORM. Today's comedians couldn't hold a torch to him. R.I.P. Sir NORMAN
