Ron Paul stands for the Libertarianism. You should study Milton Friedman whom was illustrious proponents of the Libertarianism. Just study what are the elements of the Libertarianism. It's not what you think.
Personally I would skip over Milton Friedman, because he was a Chicago monetarist, and some of his economic and resulting political views contributed to the pseudo-economic dogmas that plague us today. If you want to understand the breadth of the economics underlying libertarianism, I would cut straight to the Austrian school and read books such as "Human Action", "The Theory of Money and Credit" (Mises). These two alone are life changing. If the reading is too heavy I would suggest Rothbard.
As a die hard liberal and supporter of Dennis Kucinich I really respect Ron Paul. He is a great man and an important personality in this debate. The WTO, NAFTA, IMF, World Bank are all our common enemy. Let's hope that his influence does not go away after the elections. Best of luck to all of his supporters. ... Glenn Beck is a complete dip shit though.
I hope it is just by chance that they scrolled Huckabee's word's from an earlier interview saying "paul is dead, paul is dead, paul is dead" at minute 2:15 in this video.
News media, shezzzzz, they are all chicken yellow saps and they want our freedoms to go out the door. They are all UNCONSTITUTIONALLY minded. I hope Beck starts a trail for some of those who are timid and need a push.
I add that I think the EU has some problems (spendings, finding out what they should or not do.. that's why a constitution would be interesting), but the EU Schengen and eventually an EU defence would be a much better solution than closed markets and unallied defenses...
If there is no WTO how do you make sure the trade schemes are fair and that justice can be done to protect local governments against unfair subsidization from some other countries? And haven't the US been built like the EU on agreement that different States will join?
1. You could try just not having a scheme. Trade between people happens, whether you try to hurt or help it. it happens.
2. The EU is based more on the soviet model(severely toned down) than the US model. Most of the difference between the two systems(as designed not practiced) is in who is considered absolute sovereign(when push comes to shove). In the US system the people are(Read "I" Am.) In the Soviet system the state is (Read "We" are.)
The criminals fear Dr Ron for good reason.

Wow. Great interview. After calling RP supporters Nazis, Glenn Beck surprised me. He's redeemed himself.

decent interview. But I think Glen is holding back a bit. It sounds like he wants to slam him like Hannity or O'Reily
