I do yarn braids on my hair a lot and i still haven't made the finally decision to actually dread it... but i love the way yours looks!! thx for the information!!
i love your personality! i Change my hair all the time and i'm concidering getting locks. when i had two strand twist i actually twist my roots so it could look fresh but what i found was when i took them down my roots were beginging to dred lol. but i combed them out. i might do it agian and keep on doing it idk but keep going.
itz..iunno, i hate it when i see black women so insecure about their hair. natural hair i mean. n they hate the fact that it breaks, tears, comes out, is thin, n wonder why. itz the chemicals they keep putting into their scalp! if god intended blacks and other women with non-straight hair to appeal to and conform to the ancient white standards of beauty, he wouldve done so with us naturally. the chemicals is nothing but a lie, they teach us that if we dont discard our naturalism, we're barbaric.
your a pretty chocolate girl... oh yeah those chips u were eating is about 5 dollars in NC so u must have money LOL nice video good luck on ur journey
can you tell me how many pieces of yarn to use and how to start the twist in your hair, did you make a video of this, if not can you illustrate on a doll or maniquin head. Thanks
wow it looks like dreads but i saw this woman with them and i thought they were real locs.also but that is an excellent transition. but i remember when i got my dreads and some one told me i should start the yarn braids but i was like yarn i thought i would look like raggedy ann. but i thinks it pretty cool great vid. peace.
you can check out my locs, nothing wrong with short hair because whien it get long you gonna want short hair so enjoy iy while you can. Don't worry you hair will grow right before your eyes.
thanks...I've actually been thinking about taking these yarn braids out soon because they are starting to drive me crazy. Extra ish in my head is bothersome after a month or so. So I am def thinking about taking them out at the end of August. And your hair looks awesome! ^_^
I know what you mean, I constantly fiddle with my hair. You've inspired me to try and latchook my hair myself-uh oh DIY! I there any particular pattern to follow? Again thatnks for doing this! x
def check out that first link I put up about the hair pin latching. Thats where I learned to do it. I messed up about twice when I first started but after that its easy. I actually tightened it last night.
alway somethin' new to learn. i think it suits u. btw i saw this awhile ago and came back to check if u had new vids n thought i ma go ahead n comment.
locs is the proper terminology dreads is such a negative word referring to our natural beauty.

Your yarn braids (twist) are so nice. I put yarn braids in my 3year old daughter's hair, they were so nice and they did look like locks.
