Just curious you said the bag is authentic???I got mine last week from an LV store in Montreal. I figured since USA and Canada are neighbors my bag would say made in the USA as well. The SA told me they are shipped directly from Paris France so not sure why it would be any different in the USA...Also you said gift cards come with this bag,,,,and it did not not with mine, The SA also told me that LV does not issue gift cards with the purchase of any bag. Confused mostly about the made in USA

Gift cards dont come w/ anything here in American. If thats the case in Montreal maybe i need to relocate!...You know what is hilarious to me is that this is my cheapest LV bag and i didnt post the receipt and i get questioned all the time, but I have a $1200 bag posted w/ receipt, so why buy a knock off Speedy? it depends on your body frame usually. I was 50lbs heavier when i bought this bag so its looks almost balanced me out. A smaller bag would have looked even smaller w/ a bigger backround (my body.lol) but now that im like 3 sized smaller it still looks good and is in w/ the oversized look. i say find a LV rep you like and have them help you make the choice or a really honest friend tag along :) Hope this helped

My Speedy had creases in it where it was folded when they took it out for me to see, and the creases didn't come out for 2 weeks. I think I'll store mine open, not folded.

Good advise..i never thought about that..However my travel bag doesnt crease..it seems to be a bit stronger leather, or it could be that i pack it kinda tight and the weight of the insides smoothes the creases out quickly...Eiher way good advise..i just unfolded my purse b/c i do have this one stored away currently.

I would say 30 or 35 is your best bet.

I would assume they are made of the same material so im not sure. My friend has a LV monogramed purse and her's is 2 years old and soft... That may b a bad example b/c it maybe softer from being broken in... Hmmmmm, If u want for sure answer and u cant get to a Loui store i would suggest calling one of he locations and asking questions to any of the staff they are so nice in person and on the phone! In addition, both of my purses are soft and i looove them! I think you should indulge and get it!

I personally bought it b/c i love it and it's cute to me...I use to be a coach girl, but the last bag i bought only lasted about 10months and started to frey (carly purse) i enjoy the fact that LV are made the same way since the 1800's and the craftmanship of LV products. I cant tell you how to spend your money honey so this is a choice you will have to make for yourself. If you get it welcome to the Louis club if not welcome anyway and enjoy whatever you purchase. @Scooterbugdoodle LV is designer, but it really depends on your budget and etc. My parents bought me the same speedy ladytwu has for my 20th bday so...it'd be silly for me to say that a bag is worth $800 but just depends on how much u like it and if u end up using it for the next 5-10 yrs then yea I think it's worth it, better than buying 2 Coach bags. I chose the ebene one too cus the white one gets dirty easily and u cant clean it (according to the SA) and I hate wen the handles oxidize..

i would say go to the store and try them on. I tried mine on the month before purchasing and since your smaller than me i would say the 30...In addition to trying it on i would load up the purse at the store and make sure its not to much for you..The 35 has alot of room and can hold everything,but if ur a pack rat it will become really heavy..So maybe the 30 would suit you the best in my opinion. :) Hope this helps

I hope you get ur bag and make a video on it also...The handles will not change they will stay the same color,but make sure that u do a wipe down of ur bag and handles maybe at the most once every four months (damp cloth w/ water) just to keep the daily grim at bay. To much cleaning will weakin the leather so do it only when necessary. :-)
