@JakeyOhYeah because youtube uses pitch analyzes to make out if a music track is copyrighted. You know, the song My Dearest is owned by Sony Music Japan. Sony said to youtube "If someone uploads a video with the music track My Dearest, block it!". And to make out which track is what, YT analyzes the music-pitch.

Ans since the original was sung by a female, similar female voices (even its a chorus) would get blocked. But we don't harm Sony by uploading fan-covers, so its totally meaningless- .-
