@markjsinger Whats better than a Remington 870? Two Remington 870s! Yeah, when i got my HD gun, i made sure it had a synthetic stock, because you know your going to be a little rough on a HD gun. Training with it or actually using it, you can't worring about dinging up a walnut stock.

What do you use to protect/maintain the wood? I have a 1897 with Walnut furniture and don't know what is best to use. Beautiful shotgun man, jesus.

0:20 why is there 2 dark spots on the reciver. Mine has the same thing.

@dasanii19 thos are rivet for the internall part of the chamber that get ground down during manufacturing hence the discoloration during the blueing proccess great shotgun tho

@dasanii19 Nice gun...the "spots" are the ejector rivets that show up through the blueing. If you look close you will see them on every 870....usually.

@870Remington12 Spot welds that hold the rails in. Different hardness of metals "darken" differently with the bluing.

it took me a long time to decide on what remy 870 i would buy. I went with a 4+1 for three reasons. 1: I'm not a large guy 2: I love reloading it :-) 3: ease of barrel swap for shooting skeet. But I do love the look of a 6+1. oh well the 4+1 also looks pretty Bad Ass.
