youtube is amazing. i bought the dvd collection at walmart and saw this for the first time tonite, LOVED it! and couldnt get the theme song out of my head, so whenever im on my computer, looked it up here, and 2min later, FOUND IT! Thaaankyou!
WOw i cant believe this is on here. I saw a cartoon when i was very young. Never knew this show was so old. But the episode i want to find is the one of Christmas cartoons. Specifically the Steadfast Tin Soldier
yes indeed and a tale from the riverbank and a story from afar i found this series truly magical as a 7 year old, would love to recapture the joy but can't find it anywhere !

@railwaystationmaster i have a dvd set 200 classic cartoons and it has this whole series i believe. i bought it at wal mart for like 5 bucks

Mr Piper takes me back to my youth, I used to love this program!! Thanks for uploading it.
It's such a shame that he committed suicide back in 1979, he had such a great voice.
