i use to tie mine like that, but then i started tieing them more around my ankles i think it feels better. i quit though i totaly miss danicing and this is pretty good amazing dancer.
very nice dancing,but girl ,ur going to rip your achellies tendon lacing ur shoes like that. when u lace them up ur leg, there is no arch support and it is dangerous. ask ur dance teacher how to lace them so u don't get hurt. I really like ur dress!!!! and ur dancing is very pretty!!!!
I've never seen them tied this way. I learned to tie them around my ankles and then to tuck the strings in, but things are done differently in different places.

I used to do Irish Dancing now I wish I never gave it up. the shoe laces are just one long elastic band and thats how they are done up
