I agree on the practice, find a teacher, coach, who is very good at the art form you want to master, these teachers can and will correct mistakes, so you can become better at your art form,

I am sure it took Ms. Vidovic many years of practice, specific training, etc to get to the masters level she is at.

Believe me when I say it's very hard to correct ingrained habits. Better to learn correctly in the first place.

Could watch and listen for hours. She is marvellous! Tunes however sound at times like they are technical fare - fingering and harmonic exercises - more engineering than art. The fact that she nails it is to her credit. I'd like to hear her add Ernesto Nazareth - Bonfa et al., to her repertoire. Maybe she has and I have some more exploring to do.

What I have against him is that I can't define it as "art music", a term I associate with 20th century musics like these Bagatelles, or modern music like that of Brouwer and of course the older classical, romantic, and baroque musics. Musics with more depth and sophistication than that of those linked videos which is why I wouldn't place him up there with best in the world.

At a young age, the human brain is a very malleable thing that adapts really quickly to what you expose it to.

If you practice the right way for a long time, you will become good at anything you do. I know some people who've played guitar for 30 years and can't play for shit. It's not because they have no talent. They just have no time for practice.

I met her a few years back. She is very humble and friendly for being a master!! I shook her hand and it was a mighty hand. It makes sense because her playing is VERY powerful live. Her tone is full and varied and the dynamics are fabulous. After Marcin Dylla and about 3 others, she is the most impressive classical guitarists I've been privileged to hear perform live, though I missed Roland Dyens.
