Before there used to be many great American shows but in my opinion most American shows have not been very interesting or good at all in a very long time now.

I have seen hundreds of Anime shows like Paranoia Agent and Elfen lied and Macross and many others for example and all of them have been much better than most American shows recently.

Atlest they have much more interesting storys than American shows usually do.

Stuff only made to sell toys and stuff.

I really love Anime comedy series too like great teacher onizuka for example.

i don't think of Pokemon. I think of Naruto and Inuyasha. Inuyasha I just got bad impression because they decided to have a naked girl on the box(yep). Naruto, well. I watched Cardcaptors. I never thought Digimon or Pokemon were about promotion. None of it was before. It became promotional, and that's all anime is about in NA NOW. I like the first two seasons(talkin Digi here), season 3 had good characters but poor plot. Oh too long

In Japan they are a lot more open minded when it comes to sex and stuff like that.

They always joke about stuff like that and its completely normal in Japan.

They make sex jokes about people losing there clothes or people watching naked girls kinda often.

They think theres nothing wrong with it.

From what i have heard it seems like they think more about it being funny that sexual.

After you get used to it you dont think about it sexual much anymore too and just thinks it funny.

I love Anime.

Its a hundred times better than most American TV-shows today anyway.

The only American tv-shows i like today are almost only superhero cartoons like Teen Titans or Batman for example.

Anime atlest got much better storys and better characters than most American shows.
