Actually, if the Moon did hit Termina, it wouldn't matter where you were, everyone would die. The impact would vaporize the planet's crust, and cause that entire hemisphere to cave in. Then, the other hemisphere would eventually break apart because of the impact from the other side. So yeah, the entire planet would break apart. No one survives.

@IUHoosiersFan22 I think the moon would have to be bigger than that. It would cause damage to probably a great percentage of the planet. The moon isn't even as big as the town, and it's falling at a slow rate, so I would think that the planet would be okay.

The whole planet wouldnt be screwed. the moon in majora's mask is only the size of the town, while the earths moon is about 1/4 the size of the planet. plus the majora's mask moon is only going about 5 mph ;)

The saddest thing about this is having to warp back and undo all this. Anju and Kafei know that they're going to die,but as long they do it together,they are glad. That's really cool...I really felt a little bad to warp back to the first day.

I just have to say, I've been following this Let's Play for a little while now out of nostalgia, and this is mostly what I did it for. This quest. I can't put into words what it made me feel, but it was executed so wonderfully. And there's something so intense about the timer counting down at the end and the video just ending with Link falling back in time. I feel as though although he's done his duty unflinchingly until, he owes it to Anju and Kafei to see this through.

One side of me was happy for them considering I done enough of the game to beat the game afterwards, but the other side of me was a little pissed I had to do all that over. Mostly happy for them though.

While Ocarina of Time gets a 3DS treatment, I do hope Majora's Mask get a port to next generation such as Wii U. Imagine this game with enhanced graphics. Imagine how much atmosphere and emotion the graphics to add to scenes like this.

@Aimeeleightime If you wear it and talk to the mayor of Clock Town, he'll give you a piece of heart. Plus it serves the same function as all the other masks - collect all the masks in the game and you'll earn the Fierce Deity's Mask before the final boss, which makes Link nearly invincible.

This side quest, honestly, stole gallons of tears from me. Goind through the game, and playing it over and over again, never having gotten far enough in the game itself to finish the sidequest, always ending up bewildered and depressed by the two lovers' fates...

On a side note, that title reminds me so much of Okami. That game gave resolve a new definition for me.

It's so sad, yet beautiful, how Anju just sits there, waiting faithfully for Kafei. And yet, in the end, they decide to stay... Everything in me wants to scream at them to run, to live... At the very least, they'd still be together. This is even more of a reason to stop the moon: they won't have to die.
