Is is better to use a pencil or pen, or is there no difference?

@Soniccooper1 well using pen it would probably stand out more and make it a bit easier, but pencil is erasable on the paper, So just use what your comfortable with.

I love it! but if I try to shrink it, it looks alot longer/shorter or fatter/thinner.. whats the size of a regular sprite?

@Norkiee110 well yea it does that if you shrink it in paint, what you have to do is shrink it to the size you think looks right then fix it by outline it and coloring it in. and the size of it shouldnt really be an issue but if you dont know what size it should be i suggest just talking a regular Larger pokemon sprite like rayquaza and try to get it to be about the same size

you know some of the outline is supposed to be a dark version of the color, but other than that, great drawing.

@HanzumKing yea some of it is, if you look real carefully i used some dark orange-brown and dark purple, but youtube's quality kinda screws with it. and thanks :)

You CAN use the colour that you WILL use for the sprite as the background. For example they use white for the background and some parts of the sprite.

How'd you clean that lineart so easily? with paint none-the-less. My procces I use in my sprite videos take much longer.

@yodudeisback it does take a lot more work, but my sprites look beter with your method, 1 down, 149 to go (just counting pokemon by the terms of how many i plan on putting in my game, still gotta do back,shiny, other formes ect as well as trainers, items and other stuff) im gunna try to do more than 1 sprite (or at the very least drawing) a day. ill get done faster that way

wow your great, i made 3 sprites before (grass starters) but they looked aload of crap, 1 reason was cos i didnt have an idea what i was going to do with the grass starters (im not great at spriting grass types) and the other was because my shading sometimes dosent look right.
