@MyFeuerFrey I compared two shows with a similar premise, yes. However, if that's ruled out, then Grimm would still not be a good show.

It's still dull, it's uninteresting, the actors don't seem to show emotion or even a like for their characters. Not to mention that it feels like a rip-off of Criminal Minds; Lines and Plot.

@ZMat3 Grimm's my new guilty pleasure but I think I know what you mean. It's good but it seems to be missing just a little something that would make it really great. It's like when you cook something and it tastes really good but you know it needs just one extra ingredient to make it really delicious but can't figure out what.

There's something a little 'flat' about Grimm...I can't put my finger on it. Again, I like the show and watch every week but there's just that little something missing...

I love this show because I think it has so much potential. I like monsters, the cute lead, and where the plot is going (a face-off between Grimm, Reapers, and royals).

However...yeah. What makes it flat I've tried writing in one YT comment, but the details are too lengthy to include here so, I'll sum up what I think is the most pressing problem for Grimm, as much as I enjoy watching it: the script. w/o a good script, the actors have a harder time becoming the characters.

@cattolyst I suspect that we'll see the show evolve and become better. I don't think they even expected the show to be as well received as it was. They were showing reruns from around Thanksgiving time just up to last Friday so I suspect that NBC originally ordered just a few episodes and then ordered more when they saw what a hit it was, with the producers then having to come up with more episodes. It seems to be improving so maybe with time things will get better-I love it, too!
