in a magazine interview, she said that when they did the wicked task, she was thinking 'this is the role I want - not nancy!" I just love that she really did get her dream! She OWNS that whole west end every night - she just fills the stage and theatre! x
Rachel is amazing, i think Wicked is the perfect show for her. When I spoke to her at stage door she said Elphaba was her dream role, so it's all worked out well!

Andrew wants her and the final 6 nancys to do Phantom 2 workshops this summer.. but she's singing the main part i think.
Also, she met the director of Cabaret for the part of Sally Bowles, but Cabaret is leaving the west end!! (at the moment its showing at the Lyric theatre which is soon to become the home of Oliver!) so im not too sure about what shes doing after Phantom..

Rachel is the best. People get the wrong image of her and I can't understand why. She's a fantastic singer, dancer and an excellent actress, which showed in I'd Do Anything. She'll go far!

I couldnt agree more..Ive never been so drawn to anyone in all my life on television..she stood out an absolute country mile from the rest,but its strange,this could be a blessing in disguise for her..the world is her oyster now,and she deserves it,a bigger talent I havent seen-forget the marias and josephs too,she has been the very best (and I hope you read this one day Rachel when the dust settles)..thank you so much!
I know! Never got what they were so unsure about...after some of her performances the panel would say she was not showing real emotion - and i'd be sitting there thinking 'were we watching the same person?!' lol

i love her.... but i think on the TV show she had a bad habit of tilting her head back and looking a bit manic. I also think they overmade up her eyes so you couldn't really see the expression that much.

Your editing was great! I really enjoyed revisiting my fav nancy! If I had been in ALW's shoes i would have saved Rachel because
1. She was the strongest performer that night in the sing off and singing 'Cabaret'
2. She was better sutied to the role
3 Although she had been in the bottom two twice before, Sam was the least popular Nancy that evening so was never going to win
4 Jessie, Jodie and Rachel would have been a better mix in the final

This was so good thank you! Loved Rachel right from the start.. she would have been an absolutely fantastic Nancy.. argh still makes me angry!
But so excited about Phantom sequel and also, she met the director for Cabaret in the West End the other day!!! So that would be so brilliant too.
Aw im so glad there were so many other Rachel fans - she was the BEST! Hands down, should have won. Its a complete travesty that she didnt...!
