@cody20911 it might help but I think you need to learn some terminology first. A 6Mbps connection is 750KB per second. With over head and ('m assuming DSL) 600-700KB would be about right.
I have built pfsense with server class hardware, supermicro Xeon / Dual gigabit lan with 4GB ram. It's a monster. pay attention: 1Gbit wan to lan , 1Gbit lan to wan stable data troughput.
Im planning on doing this when I get all the parts I need. Just a few questions I wanna shoot you. If I were to change the boot order to load from a external drive like USB Flash, do you think I could store the program there. Also how difficult was the installation of PFSense? I dont know much about setting up default gateways and such.
I would say its best to use an old HDD or Live CD with a floppy disk. The HDD option all you need is the barebones system to make it work with 2 or more Network cards.
The USB drive may or may not work. It kind of a waste to use a 1gb drive for a 20mb o/s.
I'm using this one at home currently, but I have pfSense boxes deployed at our office and branch offices as well as have a few friends who have them running now. We love it.
How did you build it ????

@Theserversman if you go to my main youtube page and find this video, there is a link to a picasa web album that has pictures of the project.

I just built a pfSense box tonight. I stumbled across your video shortly after I got it running. Coincidentally, I'm using the exact same case, lol!
