  • "Please Help Me, I'm Falling" is a 1960 song written by Don Robertson and Hal Blair and first recorded by Hank Locklin. The single was Locklin's most successful recording becoming his second number one on the country charts. "Please Help Me, I'm Falling" spent fourteen weeks at the top spot and spent nine months on the country chart and crossed over to the Hot 100 peaking at number eight.

  • i love watching the ladys put there cash winnings inside there bra cup. just so sexy

  • Michael sure fared better on this show than he did on Face the Music.

  • I remember the Michael guy while watching the rerun on FAM. I remember he won an Excel Exercise machine

  • Gimme my $500.000!!!

  • "Please help me i'm falling" lol

  • Melody Roulette was the only reason I watched this show.

  • I remember watching this episode when it was reran on FAM. Michael did remind me of Casey Kasem.

  • Ponderous!

  • lol Jim you are so funny

  • Nice find! Annie took that Melody Roulette round easily, but she was in for a surprise during Tune Topics! ;)

  • Name this $500,000 tune!

  • Upon being handed $500, I would've been like "No, you just said $500,000"... :P

  • Ironically, two days later, Jim made the same mistake in saying name this "$400,000" tune instead of $400. It was when Cathy went up against Rick.

  • i rember judy barlow putting all her money in her bra cup. that must have taken a bit of nerve doing that on national t.v.

  • This was a hilarious segment. Annie and Michael look like good sports when everything is falling apart & look like they are having a lot of fun along with Jim no matter what happens. Jim's slip of the tounge could have jokingly cost the production company alot and made Annie Ericson the biggest winner in television history. Actually, Annie ended up having the biggest free fall in game show history. This was probably the most memorable round of Name That Tune I have ever scene.

  • *sigh* No one ever lets this down, do they?

kojiclutch, I respect all copyrights, as said on my profile. But the reason I have the weblink up, is because I was pirated once and I was not given credit, though my site name was opacitized in the video. The reason the weblink is there is that if anyone takes it for themselves, they'll know where it came from.

In either case, I respect all copyrights.

  • Yep, and the person who pirated that one video (You Fool) was thankfully suspended.

  • The clown who did that unacceptable piracy is one of several who deserved the suspension.

    After all, crime doesn't pay!

  • Well, it's been exactly ONE year since he got suspended AND his video was pulled.

  • @mtiller2006 Even though I totally love your videos which bring back many memories from when I started watching game shows, I do believe that kojiclutch does have a valid point though. Why would the game show theme sites, Flash game sites be shut down? It is because of copyrights. Even though us game show enthusiasts have made a personal copy of our game shows (with disclaimers), it is still an infringement due to public viewing. But, I will never tell on you :-) .

  • @kojiclutch Leave this nice man alone. He only did that to prevent theft by another YouTuber, (namely Jessy Leppert, though it was actually someone else).

  • @kojiclutch 1) Have you considered the possibility that maybe the YouTube uploader didn't actually put that link up himself? Either you have a crystal ball and know he did it, or you're jumping to conclusions. 2) If YouTube takes them down, that will be the end of it. 3) If YouTube DOES take this down (which I doubt will happen), do you think the original company would STILL hire a lawyer to sue an uploader for 4 mins of show done 20 years ago? Get real, kiddo.

  • i like it when the women put there winnings inside there bra cup

  • PLEASE HELP ME I'M FALLING!

    *falls*

    lawl

  • AND SHE DID!!!

  • Melody Roulette's sound = AWESOME

  • "Name this five hundred thouuuuuuuuuuuuusand dollar tune!" lol

  • Comment removed

  • Just the roulette round alot the most a player in cash win is $3,000.

  • wasn't there another version with Jim Lang that had melody roulette with the double wheel having 2 doubles and a car?

  • That was the Tom Kennedy version.

  • After naming the song "Please Help Me I'm After", did she do it on purpose just for laughs?

  • I think she got dizzy when she excitedly rolled her eyes

  • It's "Please Help Me I'm FALLING", not "after".

  • Also, sorry for the double post, but that was hilarious seeing Jim Lange say "$500,000", when he should have said "$500".

  • I remember when this was shown on NBC's most outrageous game show moments. They replaced the song "Please help me, I'm falling", with the MOGSM theme song.

Thanks, M.T. for posting this particular episode with the proper music.

  • I remember that too.

  • But why did they replace it?

  • Music licensing reasons, why else?

  • But that would confuse viewers! They should've shown the clip WITH the song, or not show the clip at all.
