  • why is she too young for the infant car seat??

  • @iluvreborns0ne Dear Samantha, as I commented below, this was my bad. Our daughter was born 4 weeks early and just over 5lbs when we left the hospital and as someone else pointed out below the car seat is fine from 4lbs and up. I had thought at the time it was 6lbs and up. My bad! As we didn't have a car at the time we never ended up using this car seat with our first daughter, but our second daughter was perfect for it and has been using it regularly. Have a great day! Best, Dare

  • Lets get more cribsters then bfvsgf

  • Just wanted to say they DO have a swing that has an Ipod plug in! :)

  • @ihateveryone3 I knew it!!!! I knew it!!! It was only a matter of time! Can you send me the link? Best, Dare

  • @cluelessfather It's called Graco - Sweetpeace Newborn Soothing Swing.

  • @ihateveryone3 Ah I saw it on the Graco Baby page. That's smart, they went with a headphone mini-plug jack so as to be able to fit any type of mp3/music device into it instead of just limiting it to ipods. Thanks for the heads up!!! Best, Dare

  • We don't have a Travel Crib as my husband says " when will we be travelling as soon as the baby is born?" Yeah, he is clueless and doesn't even think that she/he will be staying at grandma's and grandad's house. We don't have a swing either but we do have a bouncer chair with vibration settings and we also have this Yoga/Relaxation ball thing (that's mine not my husbands) that has Nature sounds it has the Womb sounds and loads more so i think that should give us some extra sleep, do you think?

  • @MsGeordieGirlz Hi Bethany! The Graco travel crib is awesome there is also a tent sleeper thing (I need to find the link) which works great for when they get a bit older. Of all the items I bought, the one that got us the most extra sleep was the Graco swing. Maybe the vibration chair will work the same but I can't say for sure because I've never tried it. Did you already have baby 3? I noticed your youtube page said 39 weeks but don't know when that was. Either way, CONGRATULATIONS!

  • @cluelessfather Hi, I might try the Graco travel crib out then :) i will try to persuade my husband anyway.I always update my information so last week i was 39 weeks but i was actually due my baby yesterday but he decided against that idea so my midwife picked me Friday to be induced (not looking forward to it as i hear it is more painful) but when i had my 2nd baby i had to be induced because i was overdue but my first baby,Jaden, he came 5 weeks early and was premature. And thank you so much ;)

  • @MsGeordieGirlz Wow! Phenomenal!!! Have a great delivery!!! From what I know, it only hurts more if you're actually not ready to be induced (i.e. too early). If the baby has already "dropped" then you're probably ready to go! I realize life will be crazy for the first bit after the new arrival, but when you get a moment please let me know how everything went! Again congratulations for a third beautiful child arriving to your family! Best, Dare

  • @cluelessfather Aw thank you very much, i think my midwife said something about the baby being lower, if that means the baby has dropped then i am happy. Yes, it probably will be quite hectic as my 2 little 'angels' go back to school from their holidays on Monday ( but they will be having a day off that day) I will be taking a newborn baby and a 4 year old with attitude and a 8 year old that can't help but break something to a christening. I will contact you soon after i have settled back in :)

  • who is the manufacturer of these items - i love the co-ordination!. Just off to watch the 2nd part now

  • @datsgrlz4u Hi Manda, all the color coordinated stuff is from Graco. But also you can find a lot of stuff for girls in the pink brown combination (which my wife loves). We also bought a bunch of stuff in similar color patterns for little girl #2 who arrives in two weeks!!!! Have a great day! Best, Dare

  • @cluelessfather Thank you, congrats on the 2nd baby - hope all goes well.

  • How is your daughter to young. That car seat is for infants including newborns from 4-5lbs to 22lbs and so would any other infant car seat be fine to use from newborn of 4or5lbs to either 22 or 35lbs depending on model. A newborn or premie baby is fine to go in a car seat. How did he get his baby home from the hospital. Unless he has a preemie under 5lbs. Don't listen to that information people. Cute video though.

  • @kardancer1 Thanks for pointing that out. I can't really comment or say much on what is required for premie babies as I am not a doctor and I haven't had one. Our daughter was 6-7lbs when born so the car seat worked fine for us for a bit until she outgrew it.

As to how we got the baby home from the hospital? In her mother's arms. We live half a block from the hospital. :) Hope you found some of the rest of the information useful though.

  • YOUR VIDEO WAS REALLY HELPFUL THANKS!

  • @salvitagirl No problem! I'm really glad it helped!!! Have a great day! Dare
