Great now they have completely destroyed everything the greatest generation gave to them thanks for the hard times baby boomers I am sure it will build the character of the X'ers and Y's- something you never found out how to do.

They destroyed it more than 20 years ago. They've been creating false wealth since that time. And regarding character building, I think I, as a gen X'r, can say that my Boomer parents never experienced homelessness, working 3 jobs, living off ramen, and learning to do everything for themselves, like building computers, desks, chairs, etc, not have a huge house full of consumer crap. No, I think the X & Y will fair better than expected, but the Boomers will cry at their loss.
