If I were a rich cotton planter's son from a huge sprawling plantation, I would be honored to have your hand for a waltz at the next cotillion ball and barbecue. We'd look awesome dancing on the ballroom floor as your fluffy ruffles billowed, probably slapping the black servants as they served drinks to quench our thirsts.

this corset is not meant for tight lacing, it is from an authentic pattern of the 1860's and has a more tubular form. I have also one from the 1870's for a bit tighter lacing, but I don't like to lace too tight and faint ;)

Oh, all your lovely videos make me smile!! Well, I do have my own experience with such clothing, but my crinoline is not as big as yours.

On the other hand - and that makes me frown - my corset is a lot tighter! Who ever laced you in yours, did a bad job!

Next time take a lot longer to fix the ruffles on your petticoat and get them over your crinoline take a lot more time putting your dress on next time

I really love this video of you you have done excellent and are very lovely in all of your videos by the way show another video of you putting on your crinoline dress but take your time getting the ruffles on your petticoat in place and getting your petticoats completely over your crinoline do another clip of putting on that crinoline dress except the next time take a while

It may not be 'authentic' for 1860, but it would certtainly would look delicous on a ballroom floor swirling about with the other southern belles! You glide with graceful motion and elegance, it is a shame you're not Southern! You would have made a beautiful southern belle from a fine plantation owning family in the Old South.
