As an Anglican seminarian, many people ask me if we are the break away church from the Episcopal Church and I answer no. We have broken away from nothing. Instead we embrace the traditional, orthodox faith as handed down from Christ to his Apsostles and finally to us today. It is in my opinion that the Episcopal Church made the break from Orthodoxy. With that said, it's time to move on and proclaim the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

@karpov89 The Anglican Church in North America is sort of a rapidly-growing break-away from the mainstream Episcopal Church in America. They seperated due to more traditional/conservative views on scripture and ordination of church officials, and are quite vibrant as a church. The Archbishop is Bob Duncan, and they're currently seeking to be included in full communion with other Anglicans worldwide, including the Church of England.
