Most youtubers who sign up with adsense/youtube partnership will never see any money. The $100 threshold ensure that most people will never reach that amount with the 1 or 2 videos they have in the program...either because they don't get enough views, or they just quit making vids for youtube and forget about the whole adsense thing. That's why adsense has the threshold to begin with...it means they get to run ads for free. Most people won't wait 4.5 years for a payment...they just give up

This video was made over a year ago, and although I can't reveal financial figures, I can safely say that I make more money at YouTube now than I did when I filmed this. YouTube has done a lot to improve the opportunities for advertisers, which means more money is earned. I think you'll find that as long as you maintain your channel regularly, you'll do fine. I only have an independent video partnership, but I know what you mean, people want to know how much, but we can lose our entire account if we disclose it, so that is just what we have to do. Congrats on your first check, there is alot of money to be made with adsense and the you tube partnership but it does have to do with the traffic involved, some people who have partnership i have heard of making mega bucks and others pennies, i worked for 3 yrs building my channel up for hopefully partnership, YT invited me to revenue sharing which is a bit different but i was still pleased 2 weeks after they suspended my account, i'm clueless as to why. It takes so much to build a channel up.

Great video, but some YT partners make in the thosands per month, guess it depends on the views.  I had that dream of partnership with my other channel that was built up and i just was invited to revenue sharing on it and approx. 2 weeks after the invite YT suspended or terminated my other channel without any reason as to why, i'm so clueless, i'll proboly get my first adsense check within the next 2 months, we have a website as well, still building it up...Congrats!

@tobroke2007 There's no rule saying I can't tell! And this is after 15 minutes of research lol. His check was worth 100 dollars, that's the minimum amount they send out. If it took him 1+ years to get that check, you can bet it wasn't anything more than that. You need to reset and come up with a totally new approach sax. If you want to make legitimate money from google adsense, you have to have a LOT of viewers...100,000 views on your vids PER month is what you're looking for. NO OFFENSE!!
