Good shit man...good shit. U should write an original 50's tune called b4 and after and write it about buddy holly lifting weights and just show him then u lol in alternating pics. Sorry lol i think thats amusing
great job but i looked and hadn't seen you do "well alright" yet. If you have not please do that song cuz i am very picky when it comes to buddy but i look forward to that cover song. Outstanding brother!
Very good version!***** including hick up and "background singers"!
Do you like Jimmy Reed? He had the high point of his career around the same time when Buddy Holly had his (1957-61).
I made a little animated short film to honor Jimmy Reed and his music. It is a little bit different and worth to check out if you have 74 seconds to share with me. Just drop by! The music on my vid was newly recorded for that tribute.
this stuff is great man ! wow very good . even without the drums etc very good! 5 stars from me! maybe do a cover of man on the prowl by Queen it would suite ur style very well ! please check it out.
Your one of the most naturaly gifted musicians ive met, i thank wor kid for putting me forward for the band, and you giving me the chance to do something ive dreamt of doing my whole life, i thank you and the boys from the bottom of my heart or the heart of my bottom, you dicide. Thanks again buddy. ARRON.
wow very good man u can sing one great voice u have there . im going to take a look at some of your other vids now . very good guitar player to. love your work man u rock bro ok bye.
you know what I like about your songs? You look like you could kick everyone's ass and are going to bust out some death metal or something, and they you totally nail the spirit of Buddy Holly, which just makes you all the more cool.
This is pure quality, exactly what Buddys music is all about, basic but great melody and 100 percent attention to detail. Class. Keep posting dude, you are a step above the norm
I know that they picked up Well All Right from Little Richard. But Maybe Baby is actually credited to Buddys mother, who wrote the first couple of lines. Supposedly, she would regularly try to write songs for Buddy, which hed always reject as being too serious. But in this instance he liked the ring to it and decided to finish the tune. The drum beat was taken from Little Richards Lucille.
Well done! You pay attention to tone and the subtleties - I heard that "Maybe Baby" was a saying the Crickets picked up from Little Richard...commonly used in the fifties in the states
Great Buddy Holly cover! Probably the best I've heard. No offense, but you don't look like a guy that listens to Buddy. Never the less, great job. Nice guitar, too.
