I know that they picked up Well All Right from Little Richard. But Maybe Baby is actually credited to Buddys mother, who wrote the first couple of lines. Supposedly, she would regularly try to write songs for Buddy, which hed always reject as being too serious. But in this instance he liked the ring to it and decided to finish the tune. The drum beat was taken from Little Richards Lucille.
