@cumesoftware Correct. But keep in mind that using active crossovers means that each driver (woofer, tweeter etc) is directly connected to his dedicated power amp channel. No big coils or caps between.
That means you don't need more than 20 watts per channel.

@cumesoftware Yes LM3886 is more powerful from LM3875. I am using a 35V power supply because i was mend to use is only with 8 ohm speakers. But from time to time i have use it to drive different speakers from 4 - 16 ohms, without any problems. Be aware that i use this amp for bi-amplification or tri - amplification with active xovers.
Anyway if you concern about 4 ohm loads you can stick to the manufacture recommendations witch is a 28 V psu,
nice,you have much free time on the loose , i'm trying to build myself one,2x300watts lm3886,missing some last components seemd i cant find some non-inductive resistors

8 x 65 W at 4 Ohm loads.
