  • Here in the U.S, the Unions are the problem, and throwing money at schools. How bad are the teacher unions in Canada?

  • Playing "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder in the background whilst watching this video adds to it. It gives you a rare and sassy edge.

  • :) I just wanted to post that smiley face but apparently my comment Is too short :|

  • The video title is misleading. How exactly do you propose money can be attached to the student in a way that is not the exact same as Ignatieff's learning passport?

  • @tiredoflibernonsense Any system that ensures that all educational subsidies are not given to the university directly, but instead pay X amount of the individual student's tuition. The learning passport is riddled with issues. It also would be taking away two important student tax credits that total over $500, effectively reducing Ignatieff's plan significantly. His plan is just pumping more money into the system, when he should instead be reforming the system itself.

  • Excellent video man, I totally agree.

  • Good video! How do we stop it though? When every needy person, organization and institution has already become accustomed to and programmed to "the way things work" anything else becomes unimaginable. We are baited into believing and supporting people whose prosperity depends upon our belief and support, so promising to feed the right machines, no matter the consequence, becomes the pathway to prosperity for the "promisers" of hope. We need to rage against the machine that feeds the machines.

  • Wow this was nicely said Tyler!

  • So glad I was one of your first subscribers, beause if you keep this up, the show is going to be on the big road in no time. :)

  • you are awesome i think you should at least be doing a radio show

  • Cool, I agree we must change the system, though why stop at simply attaching money to the student as the incentive. As long as "money remain the incentive" for movement there is a problem. Thus we require to completely change the rules money and transform the money system which at the moment no one in politics is even able to see due to conditioning. I agree we must change the system, though I see that as bringing forth a New Money system based in equality rather than capitalism. cool vid
