What you say has no basis in fact whatsoever. The reality is that the PS3 is outrightly a better system, it is far more powerful. HOWEVER, XBOX have managed to hold onto exclusive games and improve their multiplayer live experience. Sony made fools of themselves by building a system that they made a loss on (they sold every console at a loss) they can't afford to do the same again and thus probably won't be the most powerful in the next gen.

Actually, even Xbox was selling the 360s at a loss when they first came out. But yes, the PS3 is much more powerful than the Xbox 360 and in fact, Sony has stated that they are considering giving the PS3 a 10 year life span, meaning no new consoles, just updates.
