If anything, she is right in her critic of what fundamentalist Islamists but wrong in her view of Islam. @ansar1919 Yes, yes, people here in the US are dropping like flies from eating bacon, ham, pork fries, etc...If Islam is so concerned about people eating things that aren't good for you, where is the hadith that says, don't eat french fries?, red meat?, or nachos? all of which are much worse for you than pork. How bout verses telling you to not drink rat poison or arsenic? Where is your answer to how not allowing somebody to leave an organization makes it Superior?

Idiot, there is a verse in the Quran that forbids eating pork. You don't need a hadith for that. French fries are super delicious... they don't come from filthy animal like pigs.
We have verses in the Quran that tells you not to kill yourself( drinking poising, smoking cigarette and suicide bombing all comes under this verse).
Islam is not organization, it is way of life. The best way of life. We care about our people so we do not let them choose the bad.

Because Islam chooses what is bad, you must follow it. Explain this: If you care about "our" people, why would you kill them for leaving Islam?? You only care about them if they are muslims, if they leave, like Mo said "kill them".

We care about our people so they think twice before leaving Islam. Islam is way of life. Once you are muslim, you get the knowledge of the truth and then you disobey while you know the truth. So that's where the killing part comes in. It's like saying " you went to the doctor to cure you and he cured you. When he cured you, you turn around and say " oh he wanted to kill me whilst you know he cured you". Tha doctor wud be so pissed that he wish he never cure u.

The God I know would NEVER tell his people to kill someone, especially for something as dumb as changing religion. All justice will be meted out by him in the afterlife, NOT by human beings.

Mohamed(PBUH) did not said kill them, Allah commanded to be killed. Hey America did the same thing with Anwar Alawlaki. They said he is a traitor and they killed him yet he was an American citizen. At Sahih Al-Bukhari (9:57) he says "Who ever changes his religion, kill him", do you deny that, better not or you might not ever get your 72 virgins. Your really getting off track on Alawaki? No religion can abrogate that. You have absolutely no respect for any other ideolgy but Islam. We all think our religion is the true one, but we respect other religions. If some respected Iman told you that Allah commands you to kill your mother, you'd probably do it.

We are not following Islam the way it should be followed. We are divided and discriminating against each other. Remember Muslims should be lik "ONE BODY" if one part hurts, the whole body should hurt. This is the problem we have.
We became different bodies with different interest. The Saudi Oil money was suppose to be for every muslims in the world, but they keep it for themselves. This is why we end up being 3rd world.If you Look back history, that's how we lost Spain.

@ansar1919 You are 3rd world because your religion keeps you from producing anything worth of interest in science , arts, etc...The only rich muslim countries are in this position because they are sitting on oil , not because of what their minds have produced .
Since Islam is a finished totalarian system of thoughts , there can be no progress as long as you don't separate state, politics and science (because the Quran hasn't lead you far in this field , you are lagging everywhere)
