@GorbalsRebel I agree that his songs don't have the sort of raw power typical of a lot of Dylan, Marley, Young, etc. songs, but looking at the kinds of melodies and chord progressions Simon seems to construct so effortlessly--kinds that Dylan and Young for example never even really attempted--you see that it's impossible really to compare any of them, but certainly Paul Simon should be considered in that tier with the rest
