yes, you need for a mini-game wich the reward is piece of map. When you get all of the map pieces you get the final level (which is optionsl), that's what I think, I played this game long ago. But is still one of my favourites cuz is the first game I ever played.

Not so. At least not in my original Gameboy version. Tried it last week. Although I don't really recommend it, since the minigame at the end of each level will get harder once you've reached one of the game's endings, and that would be a quick way to do so.

In my opinion the best music is during the ending credits. Everything else is kind of meh.

You already know this, but if you stay asleep you get to an alternate level and they throw you out of the castle. If its on the main quest it takes longer.

The GBC version was released just 29 days after the GB version. You should be able to get the GBC from most places that sell old games.

According to Wikipedia, Wario Land 2 was released on March 2nd 1998 for Game Boy, and March 31st 1999 for Game Boy Color so it was actually 1 year and 29 days ... <_<
