  • they're so cool! so look like the red crane from japan! do u have red crane videos as well?

  • I have found my favorite channel on You Tube. I love Birds. Thanks for sharing your videos Jeff he Zoo Guy.

  • pretty cool jeff the zoo guy

  • Very pretty. Haha, she likes Jeff huh?

  • if the bird can fly y doesn't he fly away i didn't see a giant cage around him

  • He's so beautifull :) Thank you for sharing Jeff the Zoo Guy!

  • do more thing! this so dam cool!

  • I sure wish I could hug and cuddle with that guy - he seems more cuddly than most of the Parrots I have had (and they are pretty cuddly). I just love birds and cannot resist scrumptious feathers like this crane has - so silky and yummy. I wonder if he is the affectionate type.

  • It sure is amazing you you are able to tame wild birds like this. I have trouble with my domesticated Amazon who would fly off in a NewYork minute - if he gets the chance (he already did, and it cost me a fortune and 2 days to get him back). Parrots spook so easily no matter how tame they appear - macaws i have had, who appear to be intent in hanging around the yard also - have taken off at the drop of a hat- and never have a clue how to find their way back - I always have to do an expedition.

  • Any zookeeper will tell you that this bird isn't tame. The only reason it gets so close to him is for food. He wouldnt be able to touch or treat the crane as a pet.

  • Hmmm....I noticed that at 0:47 you said the Great Blue Heron is one of the cranes typically found in the backyard. However, if I'm not mistaken aren't herons (Ardeidae) and cranes (Gruidae) two different families of birds?

  • Man, you guys are good! Thanks for pointing that out. You are correct, the Great Blue is not of the same family. My bad, thanks for finding that! The other crane you can find here is the rare whooping crane. For those of you interested, herons are a bit smaller with a more coiled neck and in most, a longer, dagger like bill. They are also a bit more solitary than the cranes. Thanks again AceTalon.

  • Sorry for nit picking, I just wanted to clarify.

Anyways, great vids! I love birds and it's nice to see some of my favorites :)

  • No worries! I hate knowing something incorrect passed by me, so thanks again. Thanks for watching!

  • HOLY CRAP ORLY? (Wish i had a picture of an owl.

  • what was you just feeding her

  • meal worms :)

  • Incredible birds

  • Beautiful bird. I'm quite a fan of cranes and herons and the like.

  • Beautiful bird! I once sat in on a training session with the crane at Minnesota Zoo's birdshow. He flew low right over my head and it was the coolest thing ever with that HUGE wingspan!

  • They are impressive!!
